Chapter: Rights of women in loyalty.
باب: ما للنساء من الولاء
Sunan al-Darimi 3184
Yunus (Ibn Ubaid) narrated from Hasan (ra) that he said: If a woman dies and leaves behind a slave, then the right of inheritance (wala') will belong to her sons. And if the sons are not present, i.e., they die, then the wala' will return to the woman's 'asabah.

یونس (ابن عبید) نے حسن رحمہ اللہ سے بیان کیا، وہ کہتے تھے: عورت مر جائے اور غلام چھوڑ جائے تو حق وراثت (ولاء) اس کے لڑکوں کا ہو گا، اور لڑکے موجود نہ ہوں یعنی مر جائیں تو ولاء اس عورت کے عصبہ کی طرف لوٹ جائے گا۔
Younus (ibn Ubaid) ne Hasan rehmatullah alaih se bayan kiya, woh kehte thay: Aurat mar jaye aur ghulam chhod jaye to haq wirasat (wala) uske ladkon ka hoga, aur ladke mojood na hon yani mar jayen to wala us aurat ke asba ki taraf laut jayega.
(حديث مقطوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ، عَنْ الْحَسَنِ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ فِي امْرَأَةٍ مَاتَتْ وَتَرَكَتْ مَوْلًى، قَالَ: "الْوَلَاءُ لِبَنِيهَا، فَإِذَا مَاتُوا، رَجَعَ إِلَى عَصَبَتِهَا".
