Mutrif ibn Abdullah Ash-Shaykh said to his son: "Son! Knowledge is better than action."
مطرف بن عبداللہ الشخیر نے اپنے بیٹے سے کہا: بیٹے! علم عمل سے بہتر ہے۔
Mutraf bin Abdullah al-Shakhir ne apne bete se kaha: Bete! Ilm amal se behtar hai.
(حديث مقطوع) أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ، عَنْ عَوْنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الشِّخِّيرِ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ لِابْنِهِ: "يَا بُنَيَّ، إِنَّ الْعِلْمَ خَيْرٌ مِنْ الْعَمَلِ".
