Sunan al-Darimi 628
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Abdullah Ash-Shaqri that Ibrahim (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "Convey your knowledge even if the listener is not eager for it because it is they who will become your original (source of transmission), even though you are reading from the original."
Grade: Sahih
ابوعبدالله الشقری سے مروی ہے ابراہیم رحمہ اللہ نے فرمایا: اپنی حدیث ہر کسی کو سناؤ چاہے وہ اس کو سننے کی خواہش رکھے یا نہ رکھے، اس لئے کہ وہی تمہارے لئے اصل ہو جائیں گے گو کہ تم اصل کو دیکھ کر پڑھ رہے ہو۔
Abu Abdullah Ash-Shaqri se marvi hai Ibrahim rehmatullah alaih ne farmaya: Apni hadees har kisi ko sunao chahe wo usko sun-ne ki khwahish rakhe ya na rakhe, is liye ke wohi tumhare liye asl ho jayenge go ke tum asl ko dekh kar parh rahe ho.
(حديث مقطوع) أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الشَّقَرِيِّ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ: "حَدِّثْ حَدِيثَكَ مَنْ يَشْتَهِيهِ، وَمَنْ لَا يَشْتَهِيهِ، فَإِنَّهُ يَصِيرُ عِنْدَكَ كَأَنَّهُ إِمَامٌ تَقْرَؤُهُ".
