Sahih Ibn Hibban 1742
Abdullah ibn Fadalah, from his father, who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ taught us, and among his teachings he said: “Preserve the prayers, and preserve the two prayers of ‘Asr.” I said: “O Messenger of Allah, what are the two prayers of ‘Asr?” He said: “The prayer before the rising of the sun (Fajr) and the prayer before its setting (Asr).”
عبداللہ بن فضالہ اپنے والد سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ہمیں تعلیم دی اور آپ ﷺ کی تعلیمات میں سے یہ بھی تھا کہ “نمازوں کی پابندی کرو اور خاص طور پر عصر کی دو نمازوں کی حفاظت کرو”۔ میں نے عرض کیا “یا رسول اللہ ﷺ! عصر کی دو نمازیں کونسی ہیں؟” آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا “سورج نکلنے سے پہلے والی نماز (فجر) اور سورج غروب ہونے سے پہلے والی نماز (عصر)”۔
Abdullah bin Fazala apne walid se riwayat karte hain ke Rasool Allah SAW ne humain taleem di aur aap SAW ki taleemat mein se ye bhi tha ke “Namazon ki pabandi karo aur khas taur par Asar ki do namaazon ki hifazat karo”. Maine arz kiya “Ya Rasool Allah SAW! Asar ki do namazain kaunsi hain?” Aap SAW ne farmaya “Suraj nikalne se pehle wali namaz (Fajar) aur suraj ghuroob hone se pehle wali namaz (Asar)”.
أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ قَحْطَبَةَ بِفَمِ الصِّلْحِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ شَاهِينٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ فَضَالَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ عَلَّمَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَكَانَ فِيمَا عَلَّمَنَا قَالَ «حَافِظُوا عَلَى الصَّلَوَاتِ وَحَافِظُوا عَلَى الْعَصْرَيْنِ» قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَمَا الْعَصْرَانِ؟ قَالَ «صَلَاةٌ قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ وَصَلَاةٌ قَبْلَ غُرُوبِهَا»
