Sahih Ibn Hibban 2181
Qais ibn 'Abbad said: While I was in Medina in the mosque, in the first row, praying, a man pulled me from behind, pulling me aside, and he stood (in my place). By Allah, I could not concentrate on my prayer. When he finished, it turned out to be Ubayy ibn Ka'b. He said, "O nephew, may Allah not test you! This is a covenant from the Prophet (peace be upon him) to us, that we should pray behind him." Then he faced the qibla and said, "The people of the covenant have perished, by the Lord of the Ka'bah," three times. Then he said, "By Allah, I do not grieve for them, but I grieve for those whom they have misled." I said, "Whom do you mean by this?" He said, "The rulers."
قیس بن عباد رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں مدینہ میں مسجد میں پہلی صف میں نماز پڑھ رہا تھا کہ ایک شخص نے پیچھے سے مجھے کھینچ کر ایک طرف کر دیا اور خود میری جگہ کھڑا ہو گیا۔ اللہ کی قسم! میں اپنی نماز پر توجہ ہی نہیں دے سکا۔ جب اس نے نماز پوری کر لی تو وہ ابی بن کعب رضی اللہ عنہ نکلے۔ انہوں نے کہا: "اے بھتیجے! اللہ تمہیں آزمائش میں نہ ڈالے! یہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا ہم سے عہد ہے کہ ہم آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پیچھے نماز پڑھیں"۔ پھر انہوں نے قبلہ رخ ہو کر تین بار کہا: "کعبہ کے رب کی قسم! عہد کرنے والے ہلاک ہو گئے"۔ پھر انہوں نے کہا: "اللہ کی قسم! مجھے ان پر غم نہیں ہے بلکہ مجھے ان لوگوں پر غم ہے جنہیں انہوں نے گمراہ کیا ہے"۔ میں نے کہا: "اس سے آپ کی مراد کون ہیں؟"۔ انہوں نے کہا: "حکمران"۔
Qais bin Abad Radi Allahu Anhu kehte hain ki mein Madinah mein masjid mein pehli saf mein namaz parh raha tha ki ek shakhs ne peeche se mujhe khench kar ek taraf kar diya aur khud meri jagah khara ho gaya. Allah ki qasam! mein apni namaz par tawajjo hi nahin de saka. Jab usne namaz puri kar li to woh Ubayy bin Ka'b Radi Allahu Anhu nikle. Unhon ne kaha: "Aye bhateeje! Allah tumhein aazmaish mein na dale! Yeh Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ka hum se ahd hai ki hum aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ke peeche namaz parhein". Phir unhon ne qibla rukh ho kar teen baar kaha: "Ka'bah ke Rab ki qasam! Ahd karne wale halaak ho gaye". Phir unhon ne kaha: "Allah ki qasam! Mujhe un par gham nahin hai balki mujhe un logon par gham hai jinhen unhon ne gumrah kiya hai". Maine kaha: "Iss se aap ki murad kaun hain?". Unhon ne kaha: "Hukmran".
أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ خُزَيْمَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَطَاءِ بْنِ مُقَدَّمٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ السَّدُوسِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ التَّيْمِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي مِجْلَزٍ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ عَبَّادٍ قَالَ بَيْنَمَا أَنَا بِالْمَدِينَةِ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فِي الصَّفِّ الْمُقَدَّمِ قَائِمٌ أُصَلِّي فَجَذَبَنِي رَجُلٌ مِنْ خَلْفِي جَذْبَةً فَنَحَّانِي وَقَامَ فَوَاللَّهِ مَا عَقَلْتُ صَلَاتِي فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفَ فَإِذَا هُوَ أُبَيُّ بْنُ كَعْبٍ قَالَ «يَا ابْنَ أَخِي لَا يَسُؤْكَ اللَّهُ إِنَّ هَذَا عَهْدٌ مِنَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ إِلَيْنَا أَنْ نَلِيَهُ ثُمَّ اسْتَقْبَلَ الْقِبْلَةَ» وَقَالَ «هَلَكَ أَهْلُ الْعَهْدِ وَرَبِّ الْكَعْبَةِ» ثَلَاثًا ثُمَّ قَالَ «وَاللَّهِ مَا عَلَيْهِمْ آسَى وَلَكِنْ آسَى عَلَى مَنْ أَضَلُّوا» قَالَ قُلْتُ مَنْ يَعْنِي بِهَذَا؟ قَالَ «الْأُمَرَاءَ»
