Sahih Ibn Hibban 2675
Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, led us in one of the afternoon prayers and I think it was the noon prayer, and he prayed two rak'ahs. Then, he stood at a wooden beam in the direction of prayer in the mosque, placing one hand over the other. The people went out quickly, saying that the prayer had been shortened. Among the people were Abu Bakr and Umar, may Allah be pleased with them, but they hesitated to speak to him. There was a man among the people who had short or long forearms, and he was nicknamed "the one with the forearms." He said, "O Messenger of Allah, has the prayer been shortened or have you forgotten?" The Prophet said, "The prayer has not been shortened, nor have I forgotten." The man said, "But you have forgotten." The Prophet said, "Is the one with the forearms right?" They said, "Yes." So, he prayed two more rak'ahs and then concluded the prayer. Then, he bowed and prostrated like his usual prostration, or longer. Then he raised his head, said the takbir, bowed and prostrated like his usual prostration, or longer. Then he raised his head and said the takbir. I was informed by Imran ibn Husayn that he said, "Then the Prophet concluded the prayer."
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ہم کو ایک دن ظہر کی نماز پڑھائی، یا مجھے ظہر کی نماز ہی معلوم ہوتی ہے، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے دو رکعتیں پڑھائیں، پھر مسجد میں قبلہ رخ لکڑی کے ایک ستون کی طرف کھڑے ہو گئے، اور ایک ہاتھ پر دوسرا ہاتھ رکھا، لوگ جلدی جلدی باہر نکلنے لگے اور کہنے لگے کہ نماز قصر کر دی گئی ہے، لوگوں میں حضرت ابوبکر اور حضرت عمر رضی اللہ عنہما بھی تھے، لیکن وہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے پوچھنے میں جھجھک رہے تھے، لوگوں میں ایک شخص تھا جس کے ہاتھ چھوٹے تھے یا لمبے تھے، اس کا لقب ذو الیدین تھا، اس نے کہا: اللہ کے رسول! کیا نماز قصر کر دی گئی ہے یا آپ بھول گئے ہیں؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: نہ تو نماز قصر کی گئی ہے اور نہ ہی میں بھولا ہوں۔ اس نے کہا: بلکہ آپ بھول گئے ہیں۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: کیا ذوالیدین ٹھیک کہہ رہا ہے؟ انہوں نے کہا: ہاں۔ تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے دو رکعتیں اور پڑھیں، پھر نماز پوری کی، پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنے معمول کے مطابق سجدہ کیا یا اس سے بھی لمبا سجدہ کیا، پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنا سر اٹھایا، تکبیر کہی، اور جھکے اور اپنے معمول کے مطابق سجدہ کیا یا اس سے بھی لمبا، پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے سر اٹھایا، اور تکبیر کہی، حضرت عمران بن حصین رضی اللہ عنہ مجھے بتا رہے تھے کہ انہوں نے کہا: پھر نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے نماز پوری کی۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira razi Allah anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne hum ko ek din Zuhar ki namaz parhayi, ya mujhe Zuhar ki namaz hi maloom hoti hai, Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne do rakatain parhayi, phir masjid mein Qibla rukh lakdi ke ek satoon ki taraf khade ho gaye, aur ek hath par dusra hath rakha, log jaldi jaldi bahar nikalne lage aur kahne lage ki namaz Qasar kar di gayi hai, logon mein Hazrat Abubakar aur Hazrat Umar razi Allah anhuma bhi the, lekin woh Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam se puchne mein jhijhak rahe the, logon mein ek shakhs tha jiske hath chhote the ya lambe the, uska laqab Zu al-Yadain tha, usne kaha: Allah ke Rasul! kya namaz Qasar kar di gayi hai ya Aap bhool gaye hain? Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: na to namaz Qasar ki gayi hai aur na hi main bhoola hun. Usne kaha: balki Aap bhool gaye hain. Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: kya Zu al-Yadain theek kah raha hai? Unhon ne kaha: haan. To Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne do rakatain aur parhayi, phir namaz poori ki, phir Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne apne mamul ke mutabiq sajdah kiya ya us se bhi lamba sajdah kiya, phir Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne apna sar uthaya, takbeer kahi, aur jhuke aur apne mamul ke mutabiq sajdah kiya ya us se bhi lamba, phir Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne sar uthaya, aur takbeer kahi, Hazrat Imran bin Haseen razi Allah anhu mujhe bata rahe the ki unhon ne kaha: phir Nabi Kareem sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne namaz poori ki.
أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الثَّقَفِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ صَلَّى بِنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِحْدَى صَلَاتَيِ الْعَشِيِّ وَأَظُنُّ أَنَّهَا الظُّهْرُ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ قَامَ إِلَى خَشَبَةٍ فِي قِبْلَةِ الْمَسْجِدِ فَوَضَعَ يَدَيْهِ عَلَيْهَا إِحْدَاهُمَا عَلَى الْأُخْرَى وَخَرَجَ سَرَعَانُ النَّاسِ وَقَالُوا قُصِرَتِ الصَّلَاةُ وَفِي الْقَوْمِ أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ رِضْوَانُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِمَا فَهَابَا أَنْ يُكَلِّمَاهُ قَالَ وَفِي الْقَوْمِ رَجُلٌ إِمَّا قَصِيرُ الْيَدَيْنِ وَإِمَّا طَوِيلُهُمَا يُقَالُ لَهُ ذُو الْيَدَيْنِ فَقَالَ أَقُصِرَتِ الصَّلَاةُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَمْ نَسِيتَ؟ فَقَالَ ﷺ «لَمْ تُقْصَرِ الصَّلَاةُ وَلَمْ أَنَسَ» فَقَالَ بَلْ نَسِيتَ فَقَالَ «أَصَدَقَ ذُو الْيَدَيْنِ؟ » فَقَالُوا نَعَمْ فَصَلَّى بِنَا رَكْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ ثُمَّ كَبَّرَ وَسَجَدَ مِثْلَ سُجُودِهِ أَوْ أَطْوَلَ ثُمَّ رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ وَكَبَّرَ ثُمَّ كَبَّرَ وَسَجَدَ مِثْلَ سُجُودِهِ أَوْ أَطْوَلَ ثُمَّ رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ وَكَبَّرَ قَالَ وَنُبِّئْتُ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ «ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ»
