Sahih Ibn Hibban 2793
Ibn al-Musayyab said that Abu Huraira reported that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "If you say to your companion, 'Be quiet!' while the Imam is delivering the Khutbah, then you have engaged in idle talk."
ابنِ مُسَیّب بیان کرتے ہیں کہ حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "جب امام خطبہ دے رہا ہو اور تم اپنے ساتھی سے کہو ’خاموش رہو‘ تو تم نے لغو بات کی"
Ibn Musayyab bayan karte hain keh Hazrat Abu Hurairah razi Allah anhu se riwayat hai keh Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: “Jab Imam khutbah de raha ho aur tum apne saathi se kaho ‘khamosh raho’ to tum ne lagho baat ki”
أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ الْمُسَيَّبِ أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِذَا قُلْتَ لِصَاحِبِكَ أَنْصِتْ وَالْإِمَامُ يَخْطُبُ فَقَدْ لَغَوْتَ»
