Sahih Ibn Hibban 324
Ibn Abbas narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "No good deeds done on other days are dearer to Allah than those done on these (first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah)." The people inquired, "O Messenger of Allah, not even Jihad in the Cause of Allah?" He (ﷺ) replied, "Not even Jihad in the Cause of Allah, except in case of a man who goes forth, giving himself and his wealth up for the Cause (of Allah) and does not return with any of those things."
ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ” اللہ تعالیٰ کے نزدیک دس ذی الحجہ سے افضل دنوں میں کئے گئے عمل سے زیادہ کوئی محبوب عمل نہیں ہے“ لوگوں نے پوچھا اللہ کے رسول! اللہ کی راہ میں جہاد بھی نہیں؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا اللہ کی راہ میں جہاد بھی نہیں سوائے اس شخص کے جو اپنی جان و مال لے کر اللہ کی راہ میں نکلے اور پھر ان میں سے کوئی چیز واپس نہ لائے “
Ibn Abbas radi Allahu anhuma se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya Allah taala ke nazdeek das zi alhijja se afzal dinon mein kiye gaye amal se zyada koi mahboob amal nahi hai logon ne poocha Allah ke Rasul Allah ki rah mein jihad bhi nahi Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya Allah ki rah mein jihad bhi nahi siwaye us shakhs ke jo apni jaan o maal lekar Allah ki rah mein nikle aur phir un mein se koi cheez wapas na laye
أَخْبَرَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ سِنَانٍ الْقَطَّانُ بِوَاسِطَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ الْبَطِينِ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَا مِنْ أَيَّامٍ الْعَمَلُ الصَّالِحُ فِيهَا أَحَبُّ إِلَى اللَّهِ مِنْ هَذِهِ الْأَيَّامِ الْعَشْرِ» قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَلَا الْجِهَادُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ؟ قَالَ «وَلَا الْجِهَادُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ إِلَّا رَجُلٌ خَرَجَ بِنَفْسِهِ وَمَالِهِ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَرْجِعْ مِنْ ذَلِكَ بِشَيْءٍ»
