Sahih Ibn Hibban 3590
Sumak ibn Harb narrated: I entered upon Ikrimah on the day when there was doubt about Ramadan and he was eating. He said, “Come and eat.” I said, “Indeed, I am fasting.” He said, “By Allah, you will definitely eat!” I said, “Then narrate to me.” He said, “Ibn Abbas narrated to me that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, ‘Do not fast in anticipation of the month. Fast when you sight the crescent moon and break your fast when you sight it. If a cloud or haze prevents you, then complete the count as thirty days.’”
سمک بن حرب بیان کرتے ہیں کہ میں نے اکریماء کے پاس رمضان کے بارے میں شک کے دن داخل ہوا اور وہ کھانا کھا رہے تھے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ "آؤ اور کھاؤ۔" میں نے کہا کہ "میں تو روزے سے ہوں۔" انہوں نے کہا کہ "اللہ کی قسم، تم ضرور کھاؤ گے!" میں نے کہا کہ "تو مجھے حدیث سناؤ۔" انہوں نے کہا کہ "ابن عباس نے مجھے بتایا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ "مہینے سے پہلے روزہ نہ رکھو۔ جب تم چاند دیکھو تو روزہ رکھو اور جب تم اسے دیکھو تو اپنا روزہ توڑ دو۔ اگر بادل یا کہرا تمہیں روک دے تو تیس دن پورے کرو۔"
Samak bin Harb bayan karte hain ke maine Akrima ke paas Ramazan ke bare mein shak ke din dakhil hua aur wo khana kha rahe the. Unhon ne kaha ke "Aao aur khao." Maine kaha ke "Main to roze se hun." Unhon ne kaha ke "Allah ki qasam, tum zaroor khao ge!" Maine kaha ke "To mujhe hadees sunao." Unhon ne kaha ke "Ibn Abbas ne mujhe bataya ke Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya ke "Mahine se pehle roza na rakho. Jab tum chand dekho to roza rakho aur jab tum usay dekho to apna roza tor do. Agar badal ya kahra tumhen rok de to tees din pure karo."
أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ خُزَيْمَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ السَّكَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ كَثِيرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ قَالَ دَخَلْتُ عَلَى عِكْرِمَةَ فِي الْيَوْمِ الَّذِي يُشَكُّ فِيهِ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ وَهُوَ يَأْكُلُ فَقَالَ ادْنُ فَكُلْ قُلْتُ إِنِّي صَائِمٌ فَقَالَ وَاللَّهِ لَتَدْنُوَنَّ قُلْتُ فَحَدِّثْنِي قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا تَسْتَقْبِلُوا الشَّهْرَ اسْتِقْبَالًا صُومُوا لِرُؤْيَتِهِ وَأَفْطِرُوا لِرُؤْيَتِهِ فَإِنْ حَالَ بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَهُ غَبَرَةُ سَحَابٍ أَوْ قَتَرَةٌ فَأَكْمِلُوا الْعِدَّةَ ثَلَاثِينَ»
