Sahih Ibn Hibban 3841
Amir ibn Wathilah reported: I said to Ibn Abbas, "Your people claim that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, ran a short distance and that it is Sunnah." Ibn Abbas said, "They have lied and they have spoken the truth. When the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, entered Makkah and the polytheists were at Qu'ayqi'an, they said that Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and his companions were weak. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, ran a short distance and commanded his companions to do likewise, but it is not Sunnah."
امیر بن واثلہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا : میں نے ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے کہا کہ آپ کے لوگ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے تھوڑی دور تک دوڑ لگائی تھی اور یہ سنت ہے۔ ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے کہا : انہوں نے جھوٹ بھی کہا اور سچ بھی کہا۔ جب رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم مکہ میں داخل ہوئے اور مشرکین قُعیقعان میں تھے تو انہوں نے کہا کہ محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اور ان کے ساتھی کمزور ہوچکے ہیں تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم تھوڑی دور تک دوڑے اور اپنے ساتھیوں کو بھی ایسا کرنے کا حکم دیا، لیکن یہ سنت نہیں ہے۔
Ameer bin Waasil RA ne bayan kya: main ne Ibn Abbas RA se kaha ke aap ke log kehte hain ke Rasool Allah SAW ne thodi door tak daud lagaai thi aur yeh sunnat hai. Ibn Abbas RA ne kaha: unhon ne jhoot bhi kaha aur sach bhi kaha. Jab Rasool Allah SAW Makkah mein daakhil hue aur mushrikeen Qu'aiquaan mein the to unhon ne kaha ke Muhammad SAW aur un ke saathi kamzor hochuke hain to Rasool Allah SAW thodi door tak daude aur apne saathiyon ko bhi aisa karne ka hukum diya, lekin yeh sunnat nahi hai.
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدُ بْنُ مُسَرْهَدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دَاوُدَ عَنْ فِطْرِ بْنِ خَلِيفَةَ عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ وَاثِلَةَ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ إِنَّ قَوْمَكَ يَزْعُمُونَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ رَمَلَ وَأَنَّهُ سُنَّةٌ فَقَالَ كَذَبُوا وَصَدَقُوا «إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَمَّا دَخَلَ مَكَّةَ وَالْمُشْرِكُونَ عَلَى قُعَيْقِعَانَ فَتَحَدَّثُوا أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا ﷺ وَأَصْحَابَهُ هَزْلَى فَرَمَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَأَمَرَ أَصْحَابَهُ فَرَمَلُوا وَلَيْسَتْ بِسُنَّةٍ»
