Sahih Ibn Hibban 4060
Anas ibn Malik narrated that: Abdur-Rahman bin Auf came to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and his face had traces of yellowness. Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) asked him about it, and he informed him that he had married an Ansari woman. Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said to him, "How much did you pay her for mahr?" He said, "Gold equivalent to the weight of a date-stone." So Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said to him, "Give a feast, even with a sheep."
Anas بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ عبدالرحمٰن بن عوف رضی اللہ عنہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئے، تو آپ کے چہرے پر پیلاہٹ تھی، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اس کا سبب دریافت فرمایا تو انہوں نے بتایا کہ میں نے ایک انصاری عورت سے نکاح کرلیا ہے، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تم نے اس کا مہر کتنا دیا ہے؟ انہوں نے عرض کیا: ایک کھجور کے ڈھیر کے برابر سونا، تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ولیمہ کرو، چاہے ایک ہی بکری پر ہو۔
Anas bin Malik radi Allahu anhu se riwayat hai ki Abdur Rahman bin Auf radi Allahu anhu Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ki khidmat mein hazir hue to aap ke chehre par pilahat thi, Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne iska sabab daryaft farmaya to unhon ne bataya ki maine ek Ansaari aurat se nikah karliya hai, Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: tumne iska maher kitna diya hai? Unhon ne arz kiya: ek khajoor ke dher ke barabar sona, to Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: walima karo chahe ek hi bakri par ho.
أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ وَالْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ الطَّوِيلِ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْفٍ جَاءَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَبِهِ أَثَرُ صُفْرَةٍ فَسَأَلَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَأَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ تَزَوَّجَ امْرَأَةً مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «كَمْ سُقْتَ إِلَيْهَا» قَالَ زِنَةُ نَوَاةٍ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «أَوْلِمْ وَلَوْ بِشَاةٍ»
