Sahih Ibn Hibban 4065
Habib ibn Abi Thabit narrated to me: Umm Salama, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ, told me that when she arrived in Medina, she informed people that she was the daughter of Abu Umayya ibn Al-Mughira, but they disbelieved her and said, "How the strangers lie!" Then some people among them prepared for Hajj and they said, "Write to your family." So I wrote with them. They returned to Medina and confirmed her lineage. So their respect for her increased. She said, "When I gave birth to Zaynab, the Prophet ﷺ came to propose to me. I said, 'Someone like me cannot be married, for I have no children, and I am jealous with many children.' The Prophet ﷺ said, 'As for me, I am older than you, and as for jealousy, Allah will remove it, and as for the children, they are to Allah and His Messenger.'" So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ married her and said, "I will come to you tonight." She said, "So I took out some barley grains that were in my jar and some fat, and I squeezed it for him." He said, "Then he slept, and when he woke up in the morning, he said, 'Your family has a virtue over you. If you wish, I will observe seven days with you, and if I observe seven, I will observe seven for my wives.'"
مجھے حبیب بن ابی ثابت نے بیان کیا: ام المومنین ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے مجھے بتایا کہ جب وہ مدینہ پہنچیں تو لوگوں سے فرمایا کہ میں ابو امیہ بن المغیرہ کی بیٹی ہوں تو لوگوں نے ان کا انکار کیا اور کہا کہ یہ اجنبی عورتیں کیسی جھوٹ بولتی ہیں پھر ان میں سے کچھ لوگ حج کو نکلے تو کہنے لگے کہ تم اپنے گھر والوں کو لکھ بھیجو۔ تو میں نے ان کے ساتھ لکھ دیا۔ پھر وہ لوگ مدینہ واپس آئے تو انہوں نے میری قرابت کی تصدیق کی۔ تو ان کا مجھ پر احترام بڑھ گیا۔ کہنے لگیں کہ جب میں نے زینب کو جنم دیا تو نبی کریم ﷺ نے میرے لیے پیغام نکلوایا۔ میں نے کہا کہ مجھ جیسی عورت سے نکاح نہیں ہو سکتا کیونکہ میرے کوئی اولاد نہیں ہے اور میں بہت اولاد والی کی وجہ سے غیرت مند ہوں۔ تو نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ میرے بارے میں تو میں تم سے زیادہ عمر والا ہوں اور غیرت کے بارے میں تو اللہ اسے دور کر دے گا اور اولاد کے بارے میں تو وہ اللہ اور اس کے رسول کے لیے ہیں۔ تو رسول اللہ ﷺ نے آپ سے نکاح کر لیا اور فرمایا کہ میں آج رات تمہارے پاس آؤں گا۔ کہنے لگیں کہ تو میں نے اپنا جو برتن تھا اس میں جو اور چربی تھی اسے نکالا اور اسے آپ کے لیے نکالا۔ کہنے لگے کہ پھر آپ سو گئے اور جب صبح اٹھے تو فرمایا کہ تمہارے گھر والوں کا تم پر ایک حق ہے اگر تم چاہو تو میں تمہارے پاس سات دن رہوں گا اور اگر میں نے سات دن پورے کیے تو اپنی بیویوں کے پاس بھی سات سات دن پورے کروں گا۔
Mujhe Habib bin Abi Sabit ne bayan kya: Umm ul momineen Umm e Salma Radi Allahu anha ne mujhe bataya ke jab wo Madina pahunchey to logon se farmaya ke main Abu Umayya bin al-Mugheerah ki beti hun to logon ne unka inkar kya aur kaha ke ye ajnabi auraten kaisi jhoot bolti hain phir un mein se kuch log Hajj ko nikle to kahne lage ke tum apne ghar walon ko likh bhejo. To main ne unke sath likh diya. Phir wo log Madina wapas aaye to unhon ne meri qarabat ki tasdeeq ki. To unka mujh par ehteram barh gaya. Kahne lageen ke jab main ne Zainab ko janam diya to Nabi Kareem SallAllahu Alaihi Wasallam ne mere liye paigham nikalwaya. Main ne kaha ke mujh jaisi aurat se nikah nahin ho sakta kyunki mere koi aulad nahin hai aur main bahut aulad wali ki wajah se ghairat mand hun. To Nabi Kareem SallAllahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya ke mere bare mein to main tumse zyada umar wala hun aur ghairat ke bare mein to Allah ise door kar dega aur aulad ke bare mein to wo Allah aur uske rasool ke liye hain. To Rasul Allah SallAllahu Alaihi Wasallam ne aapse nikah kar liya aur farmaya ke main aaj raat tumhare paas aaoonga. Kahne lageen ke to main ne apna jo bartan tha usme jo aur charbi thi use nikala aur use aapke liye nikala. Kahne lage ke phir aap so gaye aur jab subah uthhe to farmaya ke tumhare ghar walon ka tum par ek haq hai agar tum chaho to main tumhare paas saat din rahoonga aur agar main ne saat din poore kiye to apni biwiyon ke paas bhi saat saat din poore karunga.
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي حَبِيبُ بْنُ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ أَنَّ عَبْدَ الْحَمِيدِ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي عُمَرَ وَالْقَاسِمَ بْنَ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ أَخْبَرَاهُ أَنَّهُمَا سَمِعَا أَبَا بَكْرِ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ يُخْبِرُ أَنَّ أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَخْبَرَتْهُ أَنَّهَا لَمَّا قَدِمَتِ الْمَدِينَةَ أَخْبَرَتْهُمْ أَنَّهَا بِنْتُ أَبِي أُمَيَّةَ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةَ فَكَذَّبُوهَا وَجَعَلُوا يَقُولُونَ مَا أَكْذَبَ الْغَرَائِبَ ثُمَّ أَنْشَأَ نَاسٌ مِنْهُمُ الْحَجَّ فَقَالُوا تَكْتُبِينَ إِلَى أَهْلِكِ فَكَتَبْتُ مَعَهُمْ فَرَجَعُوا إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ فَصَدَّقُوهَا فَازْدَادَتْ عَلَيْهِمْ كَرَامَةً فَقَالَتْ لَمَّا وَضَعْتُ زَيْنَبَ جَاءَنِي النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَخْطُبُنِي فَقُلْتُ مَثَلِي لَا يُنْكَحُ أَمَا أَنَّا فَلَا وَلَدَ فِيَّ وَأَنَا غَيُورٌ ذَاتُ عِيَالٍ قَالَ ﷺ «أَنَا أَكْبَرُ مِنْكِ وَأَمَّا الْغَيْرَةُ فَيُذْهِبُهَا اللَّهُ وَأَمَّا الْعِيَالُ فَإِلَى اللَّهِ وَإِلَى رَسُولِهِ» فَتَزَوَّجَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَقَالَ «إِنِّي آتِيكُمُ اللَّيْلَةَ» قَالَتْ فَأَخْرَجْتُ حَبَّاتٍ مِنْ شَعِيرٍ كَانَتْ فِي جَرَّتِي وَأَخْرَجْتُ شَحْمًا فَعَصَدْتُ لَهُ قَالَ فَبَاتَ ثُمَّ أَصْبَحَ فَقَالَ حِينَ أَصْبَحَ «إِنَّ بِكِ عَلَى أَهْلِكِ كَرَامَةً إِنْ شِئْتِ سَبَّعْتُ لَكِ وَإِنَّ أُسَبِّعْ لَكِ أُسَبِّعُ لِنِسَائِي»
