Sunan Ibn Majah 1428
It was narrated from Al-Mughirah bin Shu’bah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) that the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said: “The Imam should not pray in the place where he offered the obligatory prayer, until he moves aside.” Another chain from Mughirah, from the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) with similar wording.

مغیرہ بن شعبہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: امام اس جگہ سنت ( نفل نماز ) نہ پڑھے جہاں پر اس نے فرض پڑھائی ہے، جب تک کہ وہاں سے دور نہ جائے ۔
Mugairah bin Sha'bah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se riwayat hai ke Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Imam is jagah sunnat (nafl namaz) nah padhe jahan per usne farz padhai hai, jab tak ke wahan se door nah jaaye.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: لَا يُصَلِّي الْإِمَامُ فِي مُقَامِهِ الَّذِي صَلَّى فِيهِ الْمَكْتُوبَةَ، حَتَّى يَتَنَحَّى عَنْهُ .
