Sunan Ibn Majah 444

It was narrated from Abu Umamah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) that the Apostle of Allah ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, 'the ears are part of the head.' He used to wipe his head once, and he used to wipe over the inner corners of the eyes (that are close to the nose).

Grade: Sahih

ابوامامہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ( وضو کے باب میں ) دونوں کان سر میں داخل ہیں آپ ﷺ اپنے سر کا مسح ایک بار کرتے تھے، اور گوشہ چشم پر بھی انگلی پھیرتے تھے۔

Abu Umamah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain ke Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: (Wuzu ke bab mein) Donon kan sar mein daakhil hain Aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) apne sar ka masah ek bar karte the, aur gosha chasm par bhi angli phirte the.

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنْبَأَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سِنَانِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ الْأُذُنَانِ مِنَ الرَّأْسِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَكَانَ يَمْسَحُ رَأْسَهُ مَرَّةً، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَكَانَ يَمْسَحُ الْمَأْقَيْنِ .
