It was narrated from ‘Amir bin Sa’d, from his father, that the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم) used to say the Salam to his right and to his left.

حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ، عَنْ مُصْعَبِ بْنِ ثَابِتِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيل بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ ّرَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ: يُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ، وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ .
