Narrated by Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) led them in Salat al-Khawf (prayer of fear). He (the Prophet) prayed one rak'ah with the group standing behind him, while the other group faced the enemy. Then, the group that had prayed stood up and faced the enemy, and the second group came forward. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prayed one rak'ah with them as well. Then he (the Prophet) finished the prayer with salam. Both groups then completed their prayers by praying one rak'ah each.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے انہیں نماز خوف پڑھائی تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنے پیچھے کھڑے ہونے والے گروہ کو ایک رکعت پڑھائی جبکہ ایک گروہ دشمن کے سامنے کھڑا تھا۔ پھر وہ گروہ اُٹھ گیا جنہوں نے نماز پڑھی تھی، اور دشمن کے سامنے کھڑا ہوگیا اور دوسرا گروہ آگیا تو نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اُنہیں بھی ایک رکعت پڑھائی، پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے سلام پھیر دیا، پھر دونوں گروہوں نے ایک ایک رکعت پڑھ کر نماز مکمّل کرلی۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar Radi Allahu Anhuma se riwayat hai ki Nabi Kareem Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne unhen Namaz Khauf parhayi to Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne apne peeche kharay honay walay goroh ko ek rakat parhayi jabke ek goroh dushman ke samne khara tha. Phir wo goroh uth gaya jinhone Namaz parhi thi, aur dushman ke samne khara hogaya aur dusra goroh aagaya to Nabi Kareem Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne unhen bhi ek rakat parhayi, phir Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne salaam phir diya, phir dono gorahon ne ek ek rakat parh kar Namaz mukammal karli.
نَا أَبُو مُوسَى مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الأَعْلَى ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " صَلَّى بِهِمْ صَلاةَ الْخَوْفِ، فَصَلَّى بِطَائِفَةٍ خَلْفَهُ رَكْعَةً، وَطَائِفَةٌ مُوَاجِهَةٌ الْعَدُوَّ، ثُمَّ قَامَتِ الطَّائِفَةُ الَّذِينَ صَلَّوْا فَوَاجَهُوا الْعَدُوَّ، وَجَاءَ الآخَرُونَ فَصَلَّى بِهِمُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَكْعَةً، ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى هَؤُلاءِ رَكْعَةً وَهَؤُلاءِ رَكْعَةً"
