Abbad bin Tamim narrated from his paternal uncle that he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went out with the people to pray for rain. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) led them in two rak'ahs of prayer, reciting aloud. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) then turned his cloak inside out, raised both his hands, supplicated for rain, and faced the Qiblah.

جناب عباد بن تمیم اپنے چچا سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ وہ فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم لوگوں کو لیکر بارش طلب کرنے کے لئے نکلے تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اُنہیں دو رکعات پڑھائیں اور بلند آواز سے قراءت کی، اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنی چادر کو اُلٹایا، اور اپنے دونوں ہاتھ بلند کرکے بارش کی دعا کی اور قبلہ رخ ہوئے۔
Janab Abbad bin Tamim apne chacha se riwayat karte hain ke woh farmate hain ke Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam logon ko lekar barish talab karne ke liye nikle to aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne unhen do rakat parhaen aur buland aawaz se qirat ki, aur aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne apni chadar ko ulteya, aur apne donon hath buland karke barish ki dua ki aur qibla rukh huye.
نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، نَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ تَمِيمٍ ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ ، قَالَ:" خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالنَّاسِ يَسْتَسْقِي فَصَلَّى بِهِمْ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَجَهَرَ بِالْقِرَاءَةِ، وَحَوَّلَ رِدَاءَهُ، وَرَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ، وَاسْتَسْقَى، وَاسْتَقْبَلَ الْقِبْلَةَ"
