كِتَابُ الصَّلَاةِ

Chapter on the recommendation of hastening the Maghrib prayer.

بَابُ اسْتِحْبَابِ تَعْجِيلِ صَلَاةِ الْمَغْرِبِ‏.‏

Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah 337

Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: We used to pray Maghrib with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and then we would go to the tribe of Banu Salim and we would be able to see the places where arrows had fallen.

سیدنا جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہما بیان کرتے ہیں کہ ہم نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ نمازمغرب پڑھتے تھے پھرہم بنوسلمہ (کے محلّے) میں آتے توہم تیرگرنے کی جگہوں کو دیکھ لیتے تھے۔

Sayyidna Jabir bin Abdullah Radi Allahu Anhuma bayan karte hain ke hum Nabi Akram Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ke sath Namaz-e-Maghrib parhte thay phir hum Banu Salim (ke mohalle) mein aate to hum teer girne ki jagahon ko dekh lete thay.

نا بُنْدَارٌ ، نا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَجِيدِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ ، عَنِ الْقَعْقَاعِ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ:" كُنَّا نُصَلِّي مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْمَغْرِبَ، ثُمَّ نَأْتِي بَنِي سَلِمَةَ فَنُبْصِرُ مَوَاقِعَ النَّبْلِ"

Narrated Anas bin Malik: They (the Companions of the Prophet, may Allah be pleased with them) used to offer the Maghrib prayer with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), then they would return (to their homes) and some of them could recognize the places where their arrows fell (in the darkness).

سیدنا انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ وہ (صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ عنہم) رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ نمازِ مغرب پڑھتے تھے پھر وہ (اپنے گھر وں کو) لو ٹتے تو اُن میں سے کوئی ثخص اپنے تیر کے گرنے کی جگہوں کو دکیھ لیتا تھا۔

Sayyidina Anas Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki woh (Sahaba kiram Radi Allahu Anhum) Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ke sath namaz-e-Maghrib parhte thay phir woh (apne gharon ko) laut te to un mein se koi shakhs apne teer ke girne ki jagahon ko dekh leta tha.

نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ الْمُخَرَّمِيُّ ، نا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا " يُصَلُّونَ الْمَغْرِبَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ثُمَّ يَرْجِعُونَ فَيَرَى أَحَدُهُمْ مَوَاقِعَ نَبْلِهِ"
