Narrated by Abu Huraira (RA), The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "It is not permissible for a wealthy person or a strong healthy man to take from the Zakat funds."

سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”کسی مالدار شخص اور طاقتور تندرست آدمی کے لئے زکوٰۃ کا مال حلال نہیں ہے۔“
Sayyidna Abu Huraira Radi Allahu Anhu Nabi Kareem Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam se riwayat karte hain ki aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: Kisi maldar shakhs aur taqatwar tandarust aadmi ke liye zakat ka maal halal nahi hai.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ الْعَلاءِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، يَبْلُغُ بِهِ: " لا تَحِلُّ الصَّدَقَةُ لِغَنِيٍّ، وَلا ذِي مِرَّةٍ سَوِيٍّ"
