Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah 1950
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: A basket containing fifteen or twenty Sa's of dates was brought to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Take this and distribute it on my behalf (to the needy)."

سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں، تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس ایک ٹوکرا لایا گیا جس میں پندرہ یا بیس صاع کھجوریں تھیں۔ تو نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”یہ لے اور اپنی طرف سے (مساکین کو) کھلادو۔“
Saina Abu Huraira Radi Allahu Anhu bayan karte hain, to Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ke pass ek tokra laya gaya jis mein pandrah ya bees saa khtjoorein thin. To Nabi Kareem Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: "Yeh le aur apni taraf se (masakeen ko) khilado."
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُوسَى مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى , حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلٌ , حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ، وَقَالَ: فَأُتِيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمِكْتَلٍ فِيهِ خَمْسَةَ عَشَرَ أَوْ عِشْرُونَ صَاعًا مِنْ تَمْرٍ , فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" خُذْهُ , فَأَطْعِمْهُ عَنْكَ"
