Yahya related to me from Malik that the best of what he had heard about horses, mules, and donkeys was that they were not eaten because Allah, the Blessed, the Exalted,said, "And horses, and mules and asses, for you to ride, and as an adornment. " (Sura 16 ayat 8) . He said, may He be Blessed and Exalted, "In cattle, some of them you ride, and some of them you eat." (Sura 6 ayat 79). He said, the Blessed, the Exalted, "Mention Allah's name over what He has provided you of cattle, and eat of them and feed the beggar (al-qani) and the suppliant (al-mutarr). (Sura 22 ayat 34).
Malik said "Allah mentioned horses, mules, and donkeys for riding and adornment, and He mentioned cattle for riding and eating."
Malik said, "Al-qani also means the poor."
یحییٰ نے مجھے مالک سے روایت کی کہ انہوں نے گھوڑوں، خچروں اور گدھوں کے بارے میں جو بہترین بات سنی وہ یہ تھی کہ انہیں نہیں کھایا جاتا کیونکہ اللہ، بابرکت، بلند مرتبہ نے فرمایا، "اور گھوڑے، اور خچر اور گدھے، تاکہ تم ان پر سوار ہو اور زینت کے طور پر۔" (سورۃ النحل آیت 8)۔ انہوں نے فرمایا، وہ بابرکت اور بلند مرتبہ ہوں، "مویشیوں میں سے کچھ پر تم سوار ہوتے ہو اور کچھ کو تم کھاتے ہو۔" (سورۃ الانعام آیت 79)۔ انہوں نے فرمایا، بابرکت، بلند مرتبہ، "اللہ کا نام لو ان مویشیوں پر جو اس نے تمہیں دیے ہیں اور ان میں سے کھاؤ اور سائل (القانع) اور لاچار (المُطر) کو کھلاؤ۔" (سورۃ الحج آیت 34)۔
مالک نے کہا کہ "اللہ نے گھوڑوں، خچروں اور گدھوں کا ذکر سواری اور زینت کے لیے کیا اور اس نے مویشیوں کا ذکر سواری اور کھانے کے لیے کیا۔"
مالک نے کہا کہ "القانع کا معنی غریب بھی ہے۔"
Yahya ne mujhe Malik se riwayat ki ke unhon ne ghoron, khcharon aur gadhon ke bare mein jo behtarin baat suni woh yeh thi ke unhen nahi khaya jata kyunki Allah, Babarkat, buland martaba ne farmaya, "Aur ghore, aur khchar aur gadhe, taake tum un par sawar ho aur zeenat ke taur par." (Surat Al-Nahl ayat 8). Unhon ne farmaya, woh Babarkat aur buland martaba hon, "Maweshion mein se kuch par tum sawar hote ho aur kuch ko tum khate ho." (Surat Al-An'am ayat 79). Unhon ne farmaya, Babarkat, buland martaba, "Allah ka naam lo un maweshion par jo us ne tumhen diye hain aur un mein se khao aur sail (al-qani') aur lachar (al-mutr) ko khilao." (Surat Al-Hajj ayat 34).
Malik ne kaha ke "Allah ne ghoron, khcharon aur gadhon ka zikar sawari aur zeenat ke liye kiya aur us ne maweshion ka zikar sawari aur khane ke liye kiya."
Malik ne kaha ke "Al-qani' ka mani gareeb bhi hai."
