Yahya related to me from Malik from Zayd ibn Aslam from al-Qaqa ibn Hakim that Abu Yunus, the mawla of A'isha, umm al-muminin said, ''A'isha ordered me to write out a Qur'an for her. She said, 'When you reach this ayat, let me know, "Guard the prayers carefully and the middle prayer and stand obedient to Allah." ' When I reached it I told her, and she dictated to me, 'Guard the prayers carefully and the middle prayer and the asr prayer and stand obedient to Allah.' A'isha said, 'I heard it from the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.' "

اُم المومنین سیدہ عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کے آزاد کردہ غلام ابو یُونس رحمہ اللہ روایت کرتے ہیں کہ سیدہ عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے مجھے حکم دیا کہ اُن کے لیے مصحف ( قرآن مجید کا نسخہ ) لکھوں ، پھر انھوں نے مجھے حکم دیا کہ جب تو اس آیت پر پہنچے تو مجھے اطلاع دینا ( یعنی اس آیت پر ) : { حَافِظُوا عَلَی الصَّلَوَاتِ وَالصَّلاَۃِ الْوُسْطَی وَقُومُوا لِلّٰہِ قَانِتِینَ } [ البقرۃ : 238 ] چنانچہ جب میں ( لکھتے لکھتے ) اس آیت پر پہنچا تو میں نے اُنھیں اطلاع دی تو انھوں نے مجھے یہ ( مندرجہ ذیل ) الفاظ ( بطور تفسیر ) لکھوائے : حَافِظُوا عَلَی الصَّلَوَاتِ وَالصَّلاَۃِ الْوُسْطَی ، وَصَلاَۃِ الْعَصْر ، وَقُومُوا لِلّٰہِ قَانِتِینَ ، یعنی نمازوں پر پابندی کرو اور خصوصاً درمیانی نماز یعنی نماز عصر پر ( پابندی کرو ) اور اللہ کے حضور خاموشی سے عاجزی کرنے والے بن کر کھڑے ہوا کرو ، سیدہ عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے کہا کہ میں نے یہ کلمات رسول اللہ ﷺ سے سُنے تھے ۔
Ummulmomineen Sayyida Ayesha Radi Allaho Anha ke azad karda gulam Abu Younus Rehmatullah Alaih riwayat karte hain ke Sayyida Ayesha Radi Allaho Anha ne mujhe hukum diya ke un ke liye mushaf (Quran Majeed ka nuskha) likhun, phir unhon ne mujhe hukum diya ke jab tu is ayat par pahunche to mujhe ittila dena (yani is ayat par): { حافظوا علی الصلوات والصلاة الوسطی وقوموا لله قانتین } [ البقرة : 238 ] chunancha jab main (likhte likhte) is ayat par pahuncha to main ne unhen ittila di to unhon ne mujhe ye (mandarja zail) alfaz (ba hawala tafseer) likhwaye: حافظوا علی الصلوات والصلاة الوسطی ، وصلاة العصر ، وقوموا لله قانتین , yani namazon par pabndi karo aur khasosan darmiyani namaz yani namaz asr par (pabandi karo) aur Allah ke huzur khamoshi se aajzi karne wale ban kar khare hua karo, Sayyida Ayesha Radi Allaho Anha ne kaha ke main ne ye kalmat Rasul Allah ﷺ se sune thay.
حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ ، عَنِ الْقَعْقَاعِ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي يُونُسَ مَوْلَى عَائِشَةَ أُمِّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ : أَمَرَتْنِي عَائِشَةُ أَنْ أَكْتُبَ لَهَا مُصْحَفًا . ثُمَّ قَالَتْ : « إِذَا بَلَغْتَ هَذِهِ الْآيَةَ فَآذِنِّي » ﴿ حَافِظُوا عَلَى الصَّلَوَاتِ وَالصَّلَاةِ الْوُسْطَى ، وَقُومُوا لِلَّهِ قَانِتِينَ ﴾ [ البقرة : ٢٣٨ ] فَلَمَّا ⦗ص:١٣٩⦘ بَلَغْتُهَا آذَنْتُهَا فَأَمْلَتْ عَلَيَّ « حَافِظُوا عَلَى الصَّلَوَاتِ ، وَالصَّلَاةِ الْوُسْطَى ، وَصَلَاةِ الْعَصْرِ ، وَقُومُوا لِلَّهِ قَانِتِينَ »، قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ : « سَمِعْتُهَا مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ »
