Muwatta Imam Malik 836
Yahya related to me from Malik from Hisham ibn Urwa from his father that the man who was in charge of the sacrificial animal of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "Messenger of Allah, what should I do with a sacrificial animal that gets injured?" The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said to him, "Slaughter any sacrificial animal that is injured. Then throw the garlands in its blood, and then give the people a free hand in eating it.

ہشام بن عروہ رحمہ اللہ اپنے والد ( عروہ رحمہ اللہ ) سے بیان کرتے ہیں کہ بے شک رسول اللہ ﷺ کے ہدی کے جانور لے جانے والے شخص نے عرض کیا کہ اے اللہ کے رسول ! میں اس جانور کے ساتھ کیا کروں جو ان ہدی کے جانوروں میں سے تھک کر چلنے سے عاجز آ جائے ؟ تو رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ ہدی کے جانوروں میں سے جو اونٹ بھی تھک جائے اُسے ( وہیں ) نحر ( قربان ) کر دینا ، پھر اس کے قلادے ( ہار ) کو اس کے خون میں ڈال دینا ، پھر اس کے درمیان اور لوگوں کے درمیان جگہ خالی چھوڑ دینا ( تاکہ ) وہ اسے کھا لیں ۔‘‘
Hisham bin Urwah rehmatullah alaih apne walid (Urwah rehmatullah alaih) se bayan karte hain ki be shak Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke hadi ke janwar le jane wale shakhs ne arz kiya ki aye Allah ke Rasul! main is janwar ke sath kya karun jo in hadi ke janwaron mein se thakk kar chalne se aajiz aa jaye? To Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: ''Hadi ke janwaron mein se jo unt bhi thakk jaye usse (wahin) nahar (qurban) kar dena, phir uske qilade (haar) ko uske khoon mein daal dena, phir uske darmiyan aur logon ke darmiyan jagah khali chhor dena (taki) woh use kha lain.''
حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنَّ صَاحِبَ هَدْيِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ . كَيْفَ أَصْنَعُ بِمَا عَطِبَ مِنَ الْهَدْيِ ؟ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ : « كُلُّ بَدَنَةٍ عَطِبَتْ مِنَ الْهَدْيِ فَانْحَرْهَا . ثُمَّ أَلْقِ قِلَادَتَهَا فِي دَمِهَا ، ثُمَّ خَلِّ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَ النَّاسِ يَأْكُلُونَهَا »
