بيان فضيلة الصلاة بالجماعة

Ubayy b. Ka‘b said:God’s Messenger led us in the dawn prayer one day, and when he gave the salutation he asked, “Is so and so present?” and was told that he was not. He asked, “Is so and so present?” and was told that he was not. He then said, “These two prayers* are the ones which are most burdensome to hypocrites. If you knew the blessings they contain you would come to them, even though you had to crawl on your knees. The first row is like that of the angels, and if you knew the nature of its excellence you would race to join it. A man’s prayer said along with another is purer than his prayer said alone, and his prayer with two men is purer than his prayer with one, but if there are more it is more pleasing to God.” *i.e. the evening prayer and the dawn prayer. Abu Dawud and Nasa’i transmitted it.

ابی بن کعب ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، ایک روز رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ہمیں نماز فجر پڑھائی ، جب سلام پھیرا تو فرمایا :’’ کیا فلاں شخص موجود ہے ؟‘‘ صحابہ نے عرض کیا ، نہیں ، پھر پوچھا :’’ کیا فلاں شخص موجود ہے ؟‘‘ صحابہ نے عرض کیا : نہیں ، آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ یہ دونوں نمازیں منافقوں پر بہت بھاری ہیں ، اگر تم جان لو کہ ان میں کتنا اجر و ثواب ہے تو پھر خواہ تمہیں گھٹنوں کے بل آنا پڑتا تم ضرور آتے اور بے شک پہلی صف (اجر و فضیلت کے لحاظ سے) فرشتوں کی صف کی طرح ہے ، اور اگر تمہیں اس کی فضیلت کا علم ہو جائے تو تم اس کی طرف ضرور سبقت کرو ، بے شک آدمی کا دوسرے آدمی کے ساتھ نماز پڑھنا ، اس کے اکیلے نماز پڑھنے سے بہتر ہے ، اور اس کا دو آدمیوں کے ساتھ نماز پڑھنا ، اس کے ایک آدمی کے ساتھ نماز پڑھنے سے بہتر ہے ، اور جس قدر زیادہ ہو تو وہ اللہ کو زیادہ محبوب ہیں ۔‘‘ صحیح ، رواہ ابوداؤد و النسائی ۔
Abi bin Kaab bayan karte hain, aik roz Rasool Allah ne humein namaz fajr parhayi, jab salam phera to farmaya: ''Kya falan shakhs mojood hai?'' Sahaba ne arz kiya, nahin, phir poocha: ''Kya falan shakhs mojood hai?'' Sahaba ne arz kiya: nahin, Aap ne farmaya: ''Yeh donon namazen munafiqoon par bahut bhari hain, agar tum jaan lo ke in mein kitna ajr o sawab hai to phir chahe tumhein ghutnon ke bal aana parta tum zaroor aate aur be shak pehli saf (ajr o fazilat ke lihaz se) farishton ki saf ki tarah hai, aur agar tumhein is ki fazilat ka ilm ho jaye to tum is ki taraf zaroor subqat karo, be shak aadmi ka doosre aadmi ke sath namaz parhna, us ke akele namaz parhne se behtar hai, aur us ka do aadmiyon ke sath namaz parhna, us ke ek aadmi ke sath namaz parhne se behtar hai, aur jis qadar ziada ho to wo Allah ko ziada mahboob hain.'' وَعَنْ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ قَالَ: صَلَّى بِنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمًا الصُّبْحَ فَلَمَّا سَلَّمَ قَالَ: «أَشَاهِدٌ فُلَانٌ؟» قَالُوا: لَا. قَالَ: «أَشَاهِدٌ فُلَانٌ؟» قَالُوا: لَا. قَالَ: «إِنَّ هَاتَيْنِ الصَّلَاتَيْنِ أَثْقَلُ الصَّلَوَاتِ عَلَى الْمُنَافِقِينَ وَلَو تعلمُونَ مَا فيهمَا لأتيتموهما وَلَوْ حَبْوًا عَلَى الرُّكَبِ وَإِنَّ الصَّفَّ الْأَوَّلَ عَلَى مِثْلِ صَفِّ الْمَلَائِكَةِ وَلَوْ عَلِمْتُمْ مَا فضيلته لابتدرتموه وَإِن صَلَاة الرجل من الرَّجُلِ أَزْكَى مِنْ صَلَاتِهِ وَحْدَهُ وَصَلَاتَهُ مَعَ الرَّجُلَيْنِ أَزْكَى مِنْ صَلَاتِهِ مَعَ الرَّجُلِ وَمَا كَثُرَ فَهُوَ أَحَبُّ إِلَى اللَّهِ» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد وَالنَّسَائِيّ
