Rabi'a b. Ka‘b al-Aslami said he used to spend the night near the Prophet’s inner chamber and hear him say when he got up during the night, “Glory be to the Lord of the universe" for a long time. Then he would say, “Glory be to God and praise be to Him" for a longtime. Nasa’i transmitted it, and Tirmidhi who has something similar says that this is ahasan sahihtradition.

ربیعہ بن کعب اسلمی ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، میں نبی ﷺ کے حجرے کے قریب رات بسر کیا کرتا تھا ، جب آپ رات تہجد کے لیے اٹھتے تو میں آپ ﷺ کو دیر تک یہ پڑھتے ہوئے سنتا ۔’’ پاک ہے تمام جہانوں کا رب ۔‘‘ اور :’’ پاک ہے اللہ اپنی حمد کے ساتھ ۔‘‘ نسائی ۔ ترمذی میں بھی اسی طرح ہے ۔ اور انہوں نے فرمایا : یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے ۔ صحیح ، رواہ النسائی و الترمذی ۔
Rabia bin Kab Aslami RA bayan karte hain main Nabi SAW ke hajre ke kareeb raat basar kiya karta tha jab aap raat tahajjud ke liye uthte to main aap SAW ko der tak ye parhte huye sunta Pak hai tamam jahaanom ka Rab aur Pak hai Allah apni hamd ke sath Nasai Tirmizi main bhi isi tarah hai aur unhon ne farmaya ye hadees hasan sahih hai Sahih Riwayat al-Nasai wa al-Tirmizi
وَعَن ربيعَة بن كَعْب الْأَسْلَمِيّ قَالَ: كُنْتُ أَبِيتُ عِنْدَ حُجْرَةِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَكُنْتُ أَسْمَعُهُ إِذَا قَامَ من اللَّيْل يَقُول: «سُبْحَانَ رب الْعَالمين» الْهَوِي ثُمَّ يَقُولُ: «سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ» الْهَوِيِّ. رَوَاهُ النَّسَائِيُّ وَلِلتِّرْمِذِيِّ نَحْوُهُ وَقَالَ: هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيح
