بيان صلاة السفر

Hafs b. ‘Asim said:I accompanied Ibn ‘Umar on the road to Mecca and he led us in two rak'as at the noon prayer, then went to the place where he had alighted and sat down. Seeing some people standing he asked what they were doing, and I replied that they were engaged in glorifying God. He said, “If I had done so I would have perfected my prayer. I accompanied God's Messenger, and he prayed two rak'as and nothing more while on a journey. I also accompanied Abu Bakr, ‘Umar and ‘Uthman, and they did the same." (Bukhari and Muslim.)

حفص بن عاصم ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، میں طریق مکہ میں ابن عمر ؓ کے ساتھ تھا ، آپ ؓ نے ہمیں ظہر دو رکعت پڑھائی ، پھر اپنی قیام گاہ میں آ کر بیٹھ گئے ، آپ نے کچھ لوگوں کو قیام کرتے (نماز پڑھتے) ہوئے دیکھا تو فرمایا : یہ لوگ کیا کر رہے ہیں ؟ میں نے کہا : نفل پڑھ رہے ہیں ، انہوں نے فرمایا : اگر میں نے نفل پڑھنے ہوتے تو میں اپنی نماز پوری پڑھتا ، میں رسول اللہ ﷺ اور ابوبکر ؓ و عمر ؓ اور عثمان ؓ کے ساتھ رہا ہوں وہ سفر میں دو رکعتوں سے زیادہ نہیں پڑھا کرتے تھے ۔ متفق علیہ ۔
Hafs bin Asim bayan karte hain, main tareeq Makkah mein Ibn Umar ke sath tha, aap ne humein zuhar do rakat parhayi, phir apni qayam gah mein a kar baith gaye, aap ne kuch logon ko qayam karte (namaz parhte) hue dekha to farmaya: Ye log kya kar rahe hain? Maine kaha: Nafal parh rahe hain, unhon ne farmaya: Agar maine nafal parhne hote to main apni namaz puri parhta, main Rasul Allah aur Abu Bakr o Umar o Usman ke sath raha hun wo safar mein do rakaton se ziada nahi parhte the. Muttafiqun alaih.
وَعَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ قَالَ: صَحِبْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ فِي طَرِيقِ مَكَّةَ فَصَلَّى لَنَا الظُّهْرَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ جَاءَ رَحْلَهُ وَجَلَسَ فَرَأَى نَاسًا قِيَامًا فَقَالَ: مَا يَصْنَعُ هَؤُلَاءِ؟ قُلْتُ: يُسَبِّحُونَ. قَالَ: لَوْ كُنْتُ مُسَبِّحًا أَتْمَمْتُ صَلَاتِي. صَحِبْتُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَكَانَ لَا يَزِيدُ فِي السَّفَرِ عَلَى رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَأَبَا بكر وَعمر وَعُثْمَان كَذَلِك
