Mishkat al-Masabih 1521
Ibn ‘Umar told that when the Prophet heard the sound of thunder and of thunderbolts he said, "O God, do not kill us with Thine anger and do not destroy us with Thy punishment, but preserve us before that happens." Ahmad and Tirmidhi transmitted it, the latter saying that this is agharibtradition.

ابن عمر ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ جب نبی ﷺ گرج اور کڑک کی آواز سنتے تو دعا فرماتے تھے :’’ اے اللہ ! ہمیں اپنے غضب سے قتل نہ کرنا نہ اپنے عذاب سے ہلاک کرنا اور ہمیں اس سے پہلے ہی عافیت عطا فرمانا ۔‘‘ احمد ، ترمذی ، اور انہوں نے فرمایا : یہ حدیث غریب ہے ۔ ضعیف ۔
Ibne Umar RA se riwayat hai ki jab Nabi SAW garaj aur karak ki aawaz sunte to dua farmate the: "Aye Allah! Hamein apne ghazab se qatal na karna na apne azab se halaak karna aur hamein is se pehle hi afiyat ata farmana." Ahmad, Tirmidhi, aur unhon ne farmaya: Yeh hadees ghareeb hai. Zaeef.
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: كَانَ إِذَا سَمِعَ صَوْتَ الرَّعْدِ وَالصَّوَاعِقَ قَالَ: «اللَّهُمَّ لَا تَقْتُلْنَا بِغَضَبِكَ وَلَا تُهْلِكْنَا بِعَذَابِكَ وَعَافِنَا قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ» . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالتِّرْمِذِيُّ وَقَالَ: هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ
