Mishkat al-Masabih 2101
Ibn ‘Umar said that when ‘Umar consulted the Prophet about a vow he had made in the pre-Islamic period to spend a night in devotion in the sacred mosque, he said, “Fulfill your vow.” (Bukhari and Muslim.)
Grade: Sahih
ابن عمر ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ عمر ؓ نے نبی ﷺ سے مسئلہ دریافت کیا ، میں نے دور جاہلیت میں نذر مانی تھی کہ میں مسجد حرام میں ایک رات اعتکاف کروں گا ، آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ اپنی نذر پوری کرو ۔‘‘ متفق علیہ ۔
Ibn Umar RA se riwayat hai keh Umar RA ne Nabi SAW se masla daryaft kiya, main ne daur jahiliyat mein nazr maani thi keh main masjid haram mein ek raat etikaf karoon ga, aap SAW ne farmaya: apni nazr poori karo. Muttafiq alaih.
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ: أَنَّ عُمَرَ سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: كُنْتُ نَذَرْتُ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ أَنْ أَعْتَكِفَ لَيْلَةً فِي الْمَسْجِد الْحَرَام؟ قَالَ: «فأوف بِنَذْرِك»
