Ibn ‘Abbās said that one of the Prophet's companions set up his tent over a grave without realising that it was a grave, and it contained a man who was reciting thesūra, “Blessed is He in whose hand is the kingdom,” up to the end. He went and told the Prophet, who said, “It is the defender; it is the protector which is protecting him from God's punishment.” Tirmidhi transmitted it, .saying this is agharībtradition.

ابن عباس ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، نبی ﷺ کے ایک صحابی نے کسی قبر کی جگہ پر اپنا خیمہ نصب کیا جبکہ انہیں پتہ نہیں تھا وہ قبر ہے ، اس میں ایک انسان سورۃ الملک پڑھ رہا تھا حتیٰ کہ اس نے اسے مکمل کیا ، پس وہ نبی ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئے اور آپ کو اس کے متعلق بتایا تو نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ یہ مانعہ ‘‘ اور ’’ منجیہ ‘‘ ہے اسے اللہ کے عذاب سے بچائے گی ۔‘‘ ترمذی اور فرمایا : یہ حدیث غریب ہے ۔ اسنادہ ضعیف ۔
Ibn Abbas bayan karte hain, Nabi ke aik sahabi ne kisi qabar ki jaga par apna khaima nasab kiya jabke unhen pata nahi tha woh qabar hai, is mein aik insan Surah Al-Mulk parh raha tha hatta ke usne use mukammal kiya, pas woh Nabi ki khidmat mein hazir huwe aur aap ko iske mutalliq bataya to Nabi ne farmaya: ''Yeh Maniyah'' aur ''Munjiyah'' hai ise Allah ke azab se bachaye gi. Tirmizi aur farmaya: Yeh hadees ghareeb hai. Isnaad zaeef.
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: ضَرَبَ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خِبَاءَهُ عَلَى قَبْرٍ وَهُوَ لَا يَحْسَبُ أَنَّهُ قَبْرٌ فَإِذَا فِيهِ إِنْسَان يَقْرَأُ سُورَةَ (تَبَارَكَ الَّذِي بِيَدِهِ الْمُلْكُ)\حَتَّى خَتَمَهَا فَأَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَخْبَرَهُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «هِيَ الْمَانِعَةُ هِيَ الْمُنْجِيَةُ تُنْجِيهِ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْر» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ وَقَالَ: هَذَا حَدِيث غَرِيب\
