‘Abdullah b. Khubaib said:We went out one rainy and intensely dark night to look for God’s messenger, and when we caught up on him he said to me, “Say.” I asked him what I was to say, and he replied, “If you recite ‘Say, He is God, One’ andal-Mu'awidhatān(The last 3sūrasof the Qur’ān) three times morning and evening, they will serve you for every purpose.” Tirmidhī, Abū Dāwūd and Nasā’i transmitted it.

عبداللہ بن خبیب ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، ہم برسات میں ایک شدید تاریک رات میں رسول اللہ ﷺ کی تلاش میں نکلے تو ہم نے آپ کو پا لیا تو آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ کہو ۔‘‘ میں نے عرض کیا ، میں کیا کہوں ؟ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ تم صبح و شام تین مرتبہ سورۂ اخلاص اور سورۃ الفلق اور سورۃ الناس پڑھا کرو ، وہ تمہیں ہر چیز کے لیے کافی ہو جائیں گی ۔‘‘ اسنادہ حسن ، رواہ الترمذی و ابوداؤد و النسائی ۔
Abdullah bin Khabib bayan karte hain, hum barsaat mein ek shadeed tareek raat mein Rasul Allah ki talash mein nikle to hum ne aap ko pa liya to aap ne farmaya: "Kaho." Mein ne arz kiya, mein kya kahun? Aap ne farmaya: "Tum subah o sham teen martaba Surah Ikhlas aur Surah Falaq aur Surah Naas padha karo, woh tumhein har cheez ke liye kaafi ho jayengi." Isnadahu hasan, riwayat Tirmidhi wa Abu Dawud wa al-Nisa'i.
وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ خَبِيبٍ قَالَ: خَرَجْنَا فِي لَيْلَةِ مَطَرٍ وَظُلْمَةٍ شَدِيدَةٍ نَطْلُبُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَدْرَكْنَاهُ فَقَالَ: «قُلْ» . قُلْتُ مَا أَقُولُ؟ قَالَ: « (قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ)\وَالْمُعَوِّذَتَيْنِ حِينَ تُصْبِحُ وَحِينَ تُمْسِي ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ تَكْفِيكَ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ وَالنَّسَائِيُّ\
