Mishkat al-Masabih 2189
Ibn ‘Umar reported the Prophet as saying, “He who studies the Qur’ān is like the owner of tethered camels. If he pays attention to them he keeps hold of them, but if he lets them loose they go away." (Bukhārī and Muslim.)
Grade: Sahih
ابن عمر ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ حافظ قرآن ، بندھے ہوئے اونٹوں کے مالک کی طرح ہے ، اگر وہ اس کا خیال رکھے گا تو اسے روکے رکھے گا اور اگر اسے چھوڑ دے گا تو وہ چلے جائیں گے ۔‘‘ متفق علیہ ۔
ibn umar se riwayat hai ki nabi ne farmaya hafiz quran bandhe huye oonton ke malik ki tarah hai agar woh iska khayal rakhega to ise roke rakhega aur agar ise chhor dega to woh chale jayenge muttafiq alaih
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «إِنَّمَا مَثَلُ صَاحِبِ الْقُرْآنِ كَمَثَلِ صَاحِبِ الْإِبِلِ الْمُعَقَّلَةِ إِنْ عَاهَدَ عَلَيْهَا أَمْسَكَهَا وَإِنْ أَطْلَقَهَا ذَهَبَتْ»
