Description of the rewards of Tasbih, Tahmeed, Tahlil, and Takbeer
بيان أجر التسبيح والتحميد والتهليل والتكبير

Abu Sa'id al-Khudri reported God’s messenger as saying that Moses asked his Lord to teach him something with which to make mention of Him or to supplicate Him, and was told to say, “There is no god but God.” He replied to his Lord that all His servants said this, but he wanted something particularly for himself, and He said, “Moses, were the seven heavens and their inhabitants apart from me and the seven earths put in one side of a balance and ‘There is no god but God’ in the other, ‘There is no god but God’ would outweigh them.” It is transmitted inShar as-sunna.

ابوسعید خدری ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ موسی ؑ نے عرض کیا ، پروردگار ! مجھے کوئی چیز سکھا دے جس کے ساتھ میں تیرا ذکر کیا کروں یا میں اس کے ساتھ تجھ سے دعا کیا کروں ۔ فرمایا : موسیٰ ! ((لَا اِلٰہَ اِلَّا اللہُ)) پڑھا کرو ، انہوں نے عرض کیا : پروردگار ! تیرے سارے بندے اسے پڑھتے ہیں ، میں تو ایسی چیز چاہتا ہوں جو میرے ساتھ خاص ہو ۔ فرمایا : موسیٰ ! اگر ساتوں آسمان اور میرے سوا جہان میں بسنے والے اور ساتوں زمینیں ایک پلڑے میں رکھ دی جائیں اور ((لَا اِلٰہَ اِلَّا اللہُ)) دوسرے پلڑے میں رکھ دیا جائے تو ((لَا اِلٰہَ اِلَّا اللہُ)) ان پر بھاری ہو گا ۔‘‘ حسن ، رواہ فی شرح السنہ (۵ / ۵۴ ، ۵۵ ح ۱۲۷۳) و ابن حبان (۲۳۲۴) و الحاکم (۱ / ۵۲۸ ، ۱۳۶۲) ۔
Abu Saeed Khudri bayan karte hain, Rasool Allah ne farmaya: ''Musa ne arz kiya, Parvardigaar! Mujhe koi cheez sikha de jis ke saath main tera zikr kiya karun ya main uske saath tujhse dua kiya karun. Farmaya: Musa! (La ilaha illallah) padha karo. Unhon ne arz kiya: Parvardigaar! Tere sare bande ise padhte hain, main to aisi cheez chahta hun jo mere saath khaas ho. Farmaya: Musa! Agar saaton aasman aur mere siwa jahan mein basne wale aur saaton zameenein ek palde mein rakh di jayen aur (La ilaha illallah) dusre palde mein rakh diya jaye to (La ilaha illallah) un par bhari ho ga.'' Hasan, Riwayat fi Sharh al-Sunnah (5/54, 55 H 1273) wa Ibn Hibban (2324) wa al-Hakim (1/528, 1362).
وَعَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: قَالَ مُوسَى عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ: يَا رَبِّ عَلِّمْنِي شَيْئًا أَذْكُرُكَ بِهِ وَأَدْعُوكَ بِهِ فَقَالَ: يَا مُوسَى قُلْ: لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ فَقَالَ: يَا رَبِّ كلُّ عبادكَ يقولُ هَذَا إِنَّما أيد شَيْئًا تَخُصُّنِي بِهِ قَالَ: يَا مُوسَى لَوْ أَنَّ السَّمَاوَاتِ السَّبْعَ وَعَامِرَهُنَّ غَيْرِي وَالْأَرَضِينَ السَّبْعَ وُضِعْنَ فِي كِفَّةٍ وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ فِي كِفَّةٍ لَمَالَتْ بِهِنَّ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ . رَوَاهُ فِي شرح السّنة
