Description of the rewards of Tasbih, Tahmeed, Tahlil, and Takbeer
بيان أجر التسبيح والتحميد والتهليل والتكبير
Mishkat al-Masabih 2322
Ibn ‘Umar said:"Glory be to God" is the prayer of the creatures; "Praise be to God" is the word of thanksgiving; "There is no god but God" is the sentence which declares belief in God’s unity; and "God is most great" fills the space between heaven and earth. When a servant says, "There is no might and no power except in God", God says, "He has resigned and submitted himself to me." Razin transmitted it.

ابن عمر ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ انہوں نے فرمایا : ((سُبْحَانَ اللہِ)) کہنا مخلوق کی عبادت ہے ، ((اَلْحَمْدُلِلہِ)) کلمۂ شکر ہے ، ((لَا اِلٰہَ اِلَّا اللہُ)) کلمہ اخلاص ہے ، ((اَللہُ اَکْبَرُ)) زمین و آسمان کے خلا کو بھر دیتا ہے ، اور جب بندہ ((لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّۃَ اِلَّا بِاللہِ)) پڑھتا ہے تو اللہ تعالیٰ فرماتا ہے : اس نے اطاعت اختیار کی اور اپنے آپ کو میرے سپرد کر دیا ۔ رواہ رزین ، لم اجدہ و رواہ الحاکم (۱ / ۲۱) و احمد (۲ / ۲۹۸ ، ۳۶۳ ، ۳۳۵ ، ۳۵۵ ، ۴۰۳) ۔
Ibn Umar RA se riwayat hai ki unhon ne farmaya: Subhan Allah kehna makhlooq ki ibadat hai, Alhamdulillah kalma e shukar hai, La ilaha illallah kalma ikhlas hai, Allahu Akbar zameen o aasman ke khala ko bhar deta hai, aur jab banda La hawla wala quwwata illa billah padhta hai to Allah Taala farmata hai: Is ne itaat ikhtiyar ki aur apne aap ko mere supurd kar diya. Riwayat Razin, Lam ajiduhu wa riwayat AlHakim (1/21) wa Ahmad (2/298, 363, 335, 355, 403).
وَعَن ابْن عمر أَنَّهُ قَالَ: سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ هِيَ صَلَاةُ الْخَلَائِقِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ كَلِمَةُ الشُّكْرِ وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ كَلِمَةُ الْإِخْلَاصِ وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ تَمْلَأُ مَا بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَإِذَا قَالَ الْعَبْدُ: لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ قَالَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى: أسلم عَبدِي واستَسلَم. رَوَاهُ رزين
