Mishkat al-Masabih 2429
'Umar bin Khattab and Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever sees a person afflicted with a calamity and says: 'All praise is for Allah who spared me from that which He has afflicted you with, and He has favored me over much of His creation,' he will not be stricken with that calamity, whatever it may be." (Hasan, narrated by Tirmidhi)

عمر بن خطاب ؓ اور ابوہریرہ ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ جو شخص کسی مصیبت زدہ شخص کو دیکھ کر یہ دعا پڑھتا ہے :’’ ہر قسم کی تعریف اللہ کے لئے ہے جس نے مجھے اس چیز سے عافیت دی جس میں تجھے مبتلا کیا ہے ، اور اس نے مجھے اپنی بہت سی مخلوق پر بہت زیادہ فضیلت دی ۔‘‘ تو اسے وہ مصیبت و بیماری نہیں پہنچے گی خواہ وہ کوئی بھی ہو ۔‘‘ حسن ، رواہ الترمذی ۔
Umar bin Khattab RA aur Abu Hurairah RA bayan karte hain, Rasool Allah SAW ne farmaya: ''Jo shakhs kisi museebat zada shakhs ko dekh kar ye dua parhta hai: ''Har qisam ki tareef Allah ke liye hai jisne mujhe is cheez se aafiyat di jismein tujhe mubtala kiya hai, aur usne mujhe apni bahut si makhlooq par bahut zyada fazilat di.'' To use woh museebat o bimari nahin pahunche gi chahe woh koi bhi ho.'' Hasan, Riwayat Tirmizi.
وَعَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَا: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: مَا مِنْ رَجُلٍ رَأَى مُبْتَلًى فَقَالَ: الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي عَافَانِي مِمَّا ابْتَلَاكَ بِهِ وَفَضَّلَنِي عَلَى كَثِيرٍ مِمَّنْ خَلَقَ تَفْضِيلًا إِلَّا لَمْ يُصِبْهُ ذَلِكَ الْبَلَاءُ كَائِنا مَا كانَ . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ
