Mishkat al-Masabih 2445
Abu Huraira said that when the Prophet congratulated* a man on his marriage he said, “God bless you, bless you both, and prosper your union.” *The verb used israffa'awhich originally meant saying to someone who had just been married, "may the marriage produce close union and sons." It is said that because this was a phrase used in pre-lslamic times, the Prophet substituted for it the words used in this tradition. The verb thus develops simply the meaning of congratulating without in itself involving any particular formula. Ahmad, Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud and Ibn Majah transmitted it.

ابوہریرہ ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی ﷺ جب شادی کے موقع پر کسی شخص کو دعا دیتے تو آپ ﷺ فرماتے :’’ اللہ تیرے لئے برکت کرے اور تم دونوں پر برکت کرے اور تم دونوں کو خیر پر اکٹھا کرے ۔‘‘ اسنادہ صحیح ، رواہ احمد و الترمذی و ابوداؤد و ابن ماجہ ۔
Abu Hurairah riwayat hai ke Nabi jab shadi ke mauqa par kisi shakhs ko dua dete to aap farmate: Allah tere liye barkat kare aur tum donon par barkat kare aur tum donon ko khair par akatha kare. Isnadahu sahih, riwayat Ahmad wa Tirmidhi wa Abu Dawud wa Ibn Majah.
وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا رَفَّأَ الْإِنْسَانَ إِذَا تَزَوَّجَ قَالَ: «بَارَكَ اللَّهُ لَكَ وَبَارَكَ عَلَيْكُمَا وَجَمَعَ بَيْنَكُمَا فِي خَيْرٍ» رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالتِّرْمِذِيُّ وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ وَابْنُ مَاجَهْ
