Description of avoiding hunting while in the state of Ihram

‘Abd ar-Rahman b. ‘Uthman at-Taimi said :When we were with Talha b. Ubaidallah and were in the sacred state, some birds (The wordtairmay be either singular or plural.Mirqat, iii, 263 remarks that here it is plural ; if not, it must refer to a large bird, as several people seem to have been present) were presented to him while he was asleep, and some of us ate but others refrained. Then when Talha awoke he agreed with those who had eaten, saying, “We ate such along with God’s messenger.” Muslim transmitted it.

عبدالرحمن بن عثمان تیمی بیان کرتے ہیں ، ہم طلحہ بن عبیداللہ ؓ کے ساتھ تھے اور ہم حالت احرام میں تھے ، ان (طلحہ ؓ) کو ایک (بھنا ہوا) پرندہ بطور ہدیہ بھیجا گیا جبکہ طلحہ سو رہے تھے ۔ ہم میں سے کچھ نے کھا لیا اور کچھ نے پرہیز کیا ، تو جب طلحہ ؓ بیدار ہوئے تو انہوں نے اسے کھانے والوں کی موافقت کی اور فرمایا : ہم نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کے ساتھ کھایا تھا ۔ رواہ مسلم ۔
Abdul Rahman bin Usman Taimi bayan karte hain, hum Talha bin Ubaidullah ke sath the aur hum halat ehraam mein the, un (Talha) ko ek (bhuna hua) parinda ba tor hadiya bheja gaya jabke Talha so rahe the. Hum mein se kuch ne kha liya aur kuch ne parhez kiya, to jab Talha bedar hue to unhon ne isay khanay walon ki muwafaqat ki aur farmaya: Hum ne Rasul Allah ke sath khaya tha. Riwayat Muslim.
عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ التَّيْمِيِّ قَالَ: كنَّا مَعَ طَلحةَ بنِ عُبيدِ اللَّهِ وَنَحْنُ حُرُمٌ فَأُهْدِيَ لَهُ طَيْرٌ وَطَلْحَةُ رَاقِدٌ فَمِنَّا مَنْ أَكَلَ وَمِنَّا مَنْ تَوَرَّعَ فَلَمَّا اسْتَيْقَظَ طَلْحَةُ وَافَقَ مَنْ أَكَلَهُ قَالَ: فَأَكَلْنَاهُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ. رَوَاهُ مُسلم
