Anas said that when prices were high in the Prophet’s time the people asked him to fix prices for them, but he replied, “God is the One who fixes prices, who withholds, gives lavishly and provides, and I hope that when I meet my Lord none of you will have any claim on me for an injustice regarding blood or property.” Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud, Ibn Majah and Darimi transmitted it.

انس ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، نبی ﷺ کے زمانے میں قیمتیں چڑھ گئیں تو صحابہ نے عرض کیا ، اللہ کے رسول ! آپ ہمارے لیے قیمتیں مقرر فرما دیں ، تو نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ بے شک اللہ ہی قیمتیں مقرر کرنے والا ہے ، وہی تنگی و کشادگی کا مالک اور رزق دینے والا ہے ، اور میں امید کرتا ہوں کہ میں اس حال میں اپنے رب سے ملاقات کروں کہ تم میں سے کوئی خون اور مال کے متعلق مجھ سے مطالبہ نہ کرتا ہو ۔‘‘ اسنادہ صحیح ، رواہ الترمذی و ابوداؤد و ابن ماجہ ۔
Anas bayan karte hain, Nabi ke zamane mein qeematen charh gayeen to sahaba ne arz kiya, Allah ke Rasool! Aap humare liye qeematen muqarrar farma den, to Nabi ne farmaya: ''Be shak Allah hi qeematen muqarrar karne wala hai, wohi tangi o kushadgi ka malik aur rizq dene wala hai, aur mein umeed karta hun ke mein is hal mein apne Rab se mulaqat karun ke tum mein se koi khoon aur maal ke mutalliq mujhse mutalba na karta ho.'' Isnadah Sahih, riwayat al-Tirmidhi wa Abu Dawud wa Ibn Majah.
وَعَن أنس قَالَ: غَلَا السِّعْرُ عَلَى عَهْدِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ سَعِّرْ لَنَا فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْمُسَعِّرُ الْقَابِضُ الْبَاسِطُ الرَّازِقُ وَإِنِّي لَأَرْجُو أَنْ أَلْقَى رَبِّي وَلَيْسَ أحد مِنْكُم يطلبنني بمظلة بِدَمٍ وَلَا مَالٍ» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ وَابْنُ مَاجَهْ وَالدَّارِمِيُّ
