He said he separated a slave girl from her child, but when the Prophet forbade him to do that he cancelled the transaction. Abu Dawud transmitted it with a break in theisnad.

علی ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ انہوں نے ایک لونڈی اور اس کے بچے کے درمیان جدائی ڈال دی تو نبی ﷺ نے انہیں اس سے منع فرمایا اور بیع کو فسخ کر دیا ۔ ابوداؤد نے اسے منقطع روایت کیا ہے ۔ سندہ ضعیف ، رواہ ابوداؤد ۔
Ali RA se riwayat hai ke unhon ne ek laundi aur uske bacche ke darmiyaan judai daal di to Nabi SAW ne unhen is se mana farmaya aur bay ko faskh kar diya. Abu Dawood ne ise munqata riwayat kiya hai. Sanad zaeef, riwayat Abu Dawood.
وَعَنْهُ أَنَّهُ فَرَّقَ بَيْنَ جَارِيَةٍ وَوَلَدِهَا فَنَهَاهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ ذَلِكَ فردَّ البَيعَ. رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد مُنْقَطِعًا
