‘Imran b. Husain told that when the slave of some poor people cut off the ear of a slave of some rich people, and his people came to the Prophet telling him that they were poor, he imposed no compensation on them. Abu Dawud and Nasa’i transmitted it.

عمران بن حصین ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ غریب لوگوں کے غلام نے امیر لوگوں کے غلام کا کان کاٹ دیا تو اس (کان کاٹنے والے غلام) کے گھر والے ، نبی ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئے اور انہوں نے عرض کیا ، ہم فقیر لوگ ہیں ، تو آپ ﷺ نے ان پر (دیت میں سے) کچھ بھی مقرر نہ فرمایا ۔ اسنادہ ضعیف ، رواہ ابوداؤد و النسائی ۔
Imran bin Husain RA se riwayat hai ki ghareeb logon ke ghulam ne ameer logon ke ghulam ka kaan kaat diya to us (kaan kaatne wale ghulam) ke ghar wale, Nabi SAW ki khidmat mein hazir hue aur unhon ne arz kiya, hum faqeer log hain, to aap SAW ne un par (dait mein se) kuch bhi muqarrar na farmaya. Isnadah zaeef, riwayat Abu Dawood wa al-Nisa'i.
وَعَن عِمْران بن حُصَينٍ: أَنَّ غُلَامًا لِأُنَاسٍ فُقَرَاءَ قَطَعَ أُذُنَ غُلَامٍ لِأُنَاسٍ أَغْنِيَاءَ فَأَتَى أَهْلُهُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالُوا: إِنَّا أُنَاسٌ فُقَرَاءُ فَلَمْ يَجْعَلْ عَلَيْهِمْ شَيْئًا. رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَالنَّسَائِيُّ
