Anas told that some people of ‘Ukl who had come to the Prophet and accepted Islam found Medina unhealthy, so he ordered them to go to the camels of thesadaqaand drink some of their urine and their milk. They did so and became well, after which they apostatised, killed the herdsmen and drove off the camels. So he sent people in pursuit of them, and when they were brought he had their hands and feet cut off and their eyes put out and left them to die without cauterising them to stop the flow of blood. A version says nails were driven into their eyes. Another says he ordered nails to be heated and after having them blinded with them he had them thrown out on theharra, and although they begged for water they were left to die without being given any. انس ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، عکل کے کچھ لوگ نبی ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئے اور انہوں نے اسلام قبول کر لیا ۔ مدینہ کی آب و ہوا انہیں موافق نہ آئی تو آپ نے انہیں صدقہ کے اونٹوں کے پاس جانے کا حکم فرمایا تاکہ وہاں وہ ان کا دودھ اور پیشاب پیئیں ، انہوں نے ایسے کیا اور وہ صحت یاب ہو گئے ، اس کے بعد وہ مرتد ہو گئے اور ان کے چرواہوں کو قتل کر کے اونٹ ہانک کر لے گئے آپ ﷺ نے ان کے تعاقب میں آدمی بھیجے تو وہ انہیں پکڑ کر لے آئے ، آپ نے ان کے ہاتھ اور پاؤں کاٹ دیے اور ان کی آنکھوں میں سلائیاں پھیر دی گئیں ، پھر ان کا خون بہتا رہا حتی کہ وہ فوت ہو گئے ۔ ایک دوسری روایت میں ہے :’’ انہوں نے ان کی آنکھوں میں سلائیاں پھیر دیں ۔‘‘ اور ایک روایت میں ہے :’’ آپ ﷺ نے سلائیوں کے متعلق حکم فرمایا تو انہیں گرم کیا گیا اور انہیں ان کی آنکھوں میں پھیر کر انہیں دھوپ میں پھینک دیا گیا وہ پانی طلب کرتے رہے مگر انہیں پانی نہ دیا گیا حتی کہ وہ فوت ہو گئے ۔ متفق علیہ ۔
Anas bayan karte hain, aqal ke kuch log Nabi ki khidmat mein hazir hue aur unhon ne Islam qubool kar liya. Madina ki aab o hawa unhen muwafiq na aai to aap ne unhen sadqa ke oonton ke paas jaane ka hukum farmaya taake wahan woh un ka doodh aur peshab piyen, unhon ne aise kiya aur woh sehatyab ho gaye, is ke baad woh murtad ho gaye aur un ke charwahon ko qatal kar ke oont hank kar le gaye aap ne un ke taaqqub mein aadmi bheje to woh unhen pakar kar le aaye, aap ne un ke haath aur paon kaat diye aur un ki aankhon mein sulaiyan phir di gayin, phir un ka khoon behta raha hatta ke woh foot ho gaye. Ek dusri riwayat mein hai: ''unhon ne un ki aankhon mein sulaiyan phir din.'' Aur ek riwayat mein hai: ''aap ne sulaiyon ke mutalliq hukum farmaya to unhen garam kiya gaya aur unhen un ki aankhon mein phir kar unhen dhoop mein phenk diya gaya woh pani talab karte rahe magar unhen pani na diya gaya hatta ke woh foot ho gaye. Muttafiq alaih.
وَعَن أَنَسٍ قَالَ: قَدِمَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَفَرٌ مِنْ عُكْلٍ فَأَسْلَمُوا فَاجْتَوَوُا الْمَدِينَةَ فَأَمَرَهُمْ أَنْ يَأْتُوا إِبِلَ الصَّدَقَةِ فَيَشْرَبُوا مِنْ أَبْوَالِهَا وَأَلْبَانِهَا فَفَعَلُوا فَصَحُّوا فَارْتَدُّوا وَقَتَلُوا رُعَاتَهَا وَاسْتَاقُوا الْإِبِلَ فَبَعَثَ فِي آثَارِهِمْ فَأُتِيَ بِهِمْ فَقَطَعَ أَيْدِيَهُمْ وَأَرْجُلَهُمْ وَسَمَلَ أَعْيُنَهُمْ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَحْسِمْهُمْ حَتَّى مَاتُوا . وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ: فَسَمَّرُوا أَعْيُنَهُمْ وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ: أَمَرَ بِمَسَامِيرَ فَأُحْمِيَتْ فَكَحَّلَهُمْ بِهَا وَطَرَحَهُمْ بِالْحَرَّةِ يَسْتَسْقُونَ فَمَا يُسْقَوْنَ حَتَّى مَاتُوا
