Description of warning against and punishment for drinking alcohol and being a habitual drinker
بيان وعيد الخمر وشاربها
Mishkat al-Masabih 3687
He told that he heard God’s Messenger say, “Anyone who is asked by God to take charge of subjects and does not protect them with good counsel will not smell the fragrance of paradise.” (Bukhari and Muslim.)
Grade: Sahih
معقل بن یسار ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا :’’ اللہ جس بندے کو کسی رعیت کا نگہبان بنائے اور وہ ان کے ساتھ خیر خواہی نہ کرے تو وہ جنت کی خوشبو بھی نہیں پائے گا ۔‘‘ متفق علیہ ۔
Muqal bin Yasar RA bayan karte hain, main ne Rasul Allah SAW ko farmate huye suna: ''Allah jis bande ko kisi raiyat ka nigahban banaye aur wo un ke sath khair khwahi na kare to wo jannat ki khushboo bhi nahi paaye ga.'' Muttafiq alaih.
وَعَنْهُ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ يَسْتَرْعِيهِ اللَّهُ رَعِيَّةً فَلَمْ يَحُطْهَا بِنَصِيحَةٍ إِلَّا لَمْ يجد رَائِحَة الْجنَّة»
