Aba Sa'id al-Khudri reported God’s Messenger as saying, “The believers in the world are in three classes:those who believe in God and His Messenger and do not doubt, but strive with their property and their persons in God’s path; the man whom people trust with their property and their persons; then the man who, when he is about to display greed, abandons it for the sake of God who is great and glorious.” Ahmad transmitted it.

ابوسعید خدری ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ دنیا میں مومنوں کی تین اصناف ہیں : وہ لوگ جو اللہ اور اس کے رسول پر ایمان لائے ، پھر انہوں نے شک نہ کیا اور انہوں نے اپنی جانوں اور اپنے مالوں کے ساتھ اللہ کی راہ میں جہاد کیا ، (دوسرا) وہ شخص جس سے لوگوں کا جان و مال محفوظ ہو ۔ تیسرا وہ شخص جب اسے طمع کا خیال آتا ہے تو وہ اسے اللہ عزوجل کی خاطر ترک کر دیتا ہے ۔‘‘ اسنادہ ضعیف ، رواہ احمد (۳ / ۸ ح۱۱۰۶۵) ۔
Abusaid Khudri RA se riwayat hai keh Rasul Allah SAW ne farmaya: Duniya mein mominon ki teen asnaf hain: Wo log jo Allah aur us ke Rasul par iman laaye, phir unhon ne shak nah kia aur unhon ne apni jaanon aur apne maalon ke saath Allah ki raah mein jihad kia, (doosra) woh shakhs jis se logon ka jaan o maal mahfooz ho. Teesra woh shakhs jab use tamanna ka khayal aata hai to woh use Allah Azzawajal ki khatir tark kar deta hai. Isnaad zaeef, Rawah Ahmad (3/8 #11065).
وَعَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيُّ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: الْمُؤْمِنُونَ فِي الدُّنْيَا عَلَى ثَلَاثَةِ أَجْزَاءٍ: الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَرْتَابُوا وَجَاهَدُوا بِأَمْوَالِهِمْ وَأَنْفُسِهِمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَالَّذِي يأمنه النَّاس على النَّاسُ عَلَى أَمْوَالِهِمْ وَأَنْفُسِهِمْ ثُمَّ الَّذِي إِذَا أَشْرَفَ عَلَى طَمَعٍ تَرَكَهُ لِلَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ . رَوَاهُ أَحْمد
