Mishkat al-Masabih 3961
Salama b. al-Akwa‘ said:A spy of the polytheists who came to the Prophet when he was on a journey sat and talked with his companions and afterwards withdrew. The Prophet then said, “Look for him and kill him,” so I killed him and the Prophet gave me the spoil taken from him. (Bukhari and Muslim.)

سلمہ بن اکوع ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، دورانِ سفر مشرکین میں سے ایک جاسوس آپ ﷺ کے پاس آیا اور وہ آپ کے ساتھیوں کے پاس بیٹھ کر باتیں کرتا رہا ، پھر غائب ہو گیا ، تو نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ اسے تلاش کرو اور اسے قتل کر دو ۔‘‘ چنانچہ میں نے اسے قتل کر دیا تو آپ ﷺ نے اس کا سامان مجھے عطا فرما دیا ۔ متفق علیہ ۔
Salma bin Akwa RA bayan karte hain, dauran e safar mushrikeen mein se aik jasoos aap SAW ke pass aaya aur wo aap ke saathiyon ke pass beth kar baaten karta raha, phir ghaib ho gaya, to Nabi SAW ne farmaya: "Ise talaash karo aur ise qatal kar do." Chunancha maine ise qatal kar diya to aap SAW ne iska saman mujhe ata farma diya. Muttafiq alaih.
وَعَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْأَكْوَعِ قَالَ أَتَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَيْنٌ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ وَهُوَ فِي سَفَرٍ فَجَلَسَ عِنْدَ أَصْحَابِهِ يَتَحَدَّثُ ثُمَّ انْفَتَلَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «اطْلُبُوهُ وَاقْتُلُوهُ» . فَقَتَلْتُهُ فنفَّلَني سلبَه
