‘A’isha told that when Hind daughter of ‘Utba said, “Prophet of God, accept my allegiance," he replied, “Not till you make a difference to the palms of your hands ; for they look like the paws of a beast of prey." (A strong way of saying that a woman's hands with no henna on them are ugly) Abu Dawud transmitted it.

عائشہ ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ ہند بن عتبہ نے عرض کیا ، اللہ کے نبی ! مجھ سے بیعت لیں ، آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ میں تم سے بیعت نہیں لوں گا حتی کہ تم اپنی ہتھیلیوں کا رنگ بدلو ، گویا تیری ہتھیلیاں کسی درندے کی ہتھیلیاں ہیں ۔‘‘ اسنادہ ضعیف ، رواہ ابوداؤد ۔
Ayesha RA say riwayat hai ki Hind bin Utba nay arz kiya, Allah kay Nabi! Mujh say bai'at layn, Aap SAW nay farmaya: "Main tum say bai'at nahin lunga hatta ki tum apni hatheliyon ka rang badlo, goya teri hatheliyan kisi darinday ki hatheliyan hain." Isnaad-e-zaeef, Rawah Abu Dawood.
وَعَن عائشةَ أَنَّ هِنْدًا بِنْتَ عُتْبَةَ قَالَتْ: يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ بَايِعْنِي فَقَالَ: «لَا أُبَايِعُكِ حَتَّى تُغَيِّرِي كَفَّيْكِ فَكَأَنَّهُمَا كَفَّا سَبُعٍ» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ
