It is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he felt hungry, so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) gave him some dates, one at a time. Its chain of narration is authentic (Sahih). It was narrated by At-Tirmidhi.

ابوہریرہ ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ انہیں بھوک لگی تو رسول اللہ ﷺ نے انہیں ایک ایک کھجور عطا فرمائی ۔ اسنادہ صحیح ، رواہ الترمذی ۔
Abu Hurairah RA se riwayat hai keh unhein bhook lagi to Rasul Allah SAW ne unhein aik aik khajoor ata farmaie. Isnadahu Sahih, Riwayatul Tirmidhi.
وَعَن أبي\هُرَيْرَة أَنَّهُ أَصَابَهُمْ جُوعٌ فَأَعْطَاهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَمْرَةً تَمْرَةً. رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ\
