Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Allah the Almighty said: 'I am the most independent of all partners. Whoever performs a deed in which he associates anyone else with Me besides Me, I will leave him with his polytheism.'" In another narration: "'I am disgusted with him, and that (deed) is for the one for whom he did it.'" (Sahih Muslim)

ابوہریرہ ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ اللہ تعالیٰ فرماتا ہے : میں (دوسرے) تمام شریکوں کے مقابلے میں شرک سے سب سے زیادہ بے نیاز ہوں ، جو کوئی ایسا عمل کرے جس میں وہ میرے ساتھ میرے علاوہ کسی اور کو بھی شریک کرے تو میں اس کو اس کے شرک سمیت چھوڑ دیتا ہوں ۔‘‘\n ایک اور روایت میں ہے :’’ میں اس (عمل کرنے والے) سے بیزار ہوں ، وہ (عمل) اسی کے لیے ہے جس کے لیے اس نے کیا ہے ۔‘‘ رواہ مسلم ۔\n
Abu Hurairah bayan karte hain, Rasool Allah ne farmaya: ''Allah Ta'ala farmata hai: Main (dusre) tamam sharikon ke muqable mein shirk se sab se zyada bay niyaz hun, jo koi aisa amal kare jis mein wo mere sath mere ilawa kisi aur ko bhi sharik kare to main usko uske shirk samet chhor deta hun.'' Ek aur riwayat mein hai: ''Main us (amal karne wale) se bayzaar hun, wo (amal) usi ke liye hai jis ke liye usne kiya hai.'' Riwayat Muslim.
وَعَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: قَالَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى: أَنَا أَغْنَى الشُّرَكَاءِ عَنِ الشِّرْكِ مَنْ عَمِلَ عَمَلًا أَشْرَكَ فِيهِ مَعِي غَيْرِي تَرَكْتُهُ وَشِرْكَهُ وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ: فَأَنَا مِنْهُ بَرِيءٌ هُوَ لِلَّذِي عَمِلَهُ . رَوَاهُ مُسلم
