Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Indeed, Allah, the Almighty and Glorious, has promised me that He will admit four hundred thousand from my Ummah into Paradise without reckoning." Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "O Messenger of Allah! Increase for us." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) then gathered his hands and spread them as if to indicate an increase. Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) again said, "O Messenger of Allah! Increase for us. "The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) repeated the gesture. At this, Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "Leave it, O Abu Bakr." Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) replied, "And what harm is there if Allah admits all of us into Paradise?" Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "Indeed, if Allah, the Almighty and Glorious, wills to admit His creation into Paradise with a single handful, He can do so." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) then said, "Umar has spoken the truth." Similar Narration in Musnad Ahmad 12695
انس (رضی اللہ عنہ) سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) نے فرمایا: "بے شک اللہ عز و جل نے مجھ سے وعدہ فرمایا ہے کہ وہ میری امت میں سے چار لاکھ افراد کو بغیر حساب جنت میں داخل کرے گا۔" ابو بکر (رضی اللہ عنہ) نے عرض کیا: "اے اللہ کے رسول! ہمارے لیے اور اضافہ کیجیے۔" نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) نے اپنے دونوں ہاتھوں کو اکٹھا کیا اور پھیلایا جیسے کہ اضافے کا اشارہ دے رہے ہوں۔ ابو بکر (رضی اللہ عنہ) نے پھر کہا: "اے اللہ کے رسول! ہمارے لیے مزید اضافہ کیجیے۔" نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) نے دوبارہ یہی اشارہ فرمایا۔ اس پر عمر (رضی اللہ عنہ) نے کہا: "اے ابو بکر! بس کریں۔" ابو بکر (رضی اللہ عنہ) نے جواب دیا: "اور اگر اللہ ہمیں سب کو جنت میں داخل کر دے تو تمہیں کیا نقصان ہوگا؟" عمر (رضی اللہ عنہ) نے فرمایا: "بے شک، اگر اللہ عز و جل چاہے تو وہ اپنی مخلوق کو ایک ہی مٹھی میں جنت میں داخل کر سکتا ہے۔" نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) نے فرمایا: "عمر نے سچ کہا۔"
Anas (razi Allah anhu) se riwayat hai ke Rasool Allah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) ne farmaya: "Beshak Allah Azza wa Jal ne mujh se waada farmaya hai ke woh meri Ummat mein se chaar laakh afraad ko baghair hisaab Jannat mein daakhil karega." Abu Bakr (razi Allah anhu) ne arz kiya: "Ae Allah ke Rasool! Hamare liye aur izafa kijiye." Nabi Kareem (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) ne apne dono haathon ko ikattha kiya aur phehlaya jaise ke izafe ka ishara de rahe hon. Abu Bakr (razi Allah anhu) ne phir kaha: "Ae Allah ke Rasool! Hamare liye mazeed izafa kijiye." Nabi Kareem (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) ne dobara yahi ishara farmaya. Is par Umar (razi Allah anhu) ne kaha: "Ae Abu Bakr! Bas karein." Abu Bakr (razi Allah anhu) ne jawab diya: "Aur agar Allah humein sab ko Jannat mein daakhil kar de to tumhe kya nuqsan hoga?" Umar (razi Allah anhu) ne farmaya: "Beshak, agar Allah Azza wa Jal chahe to woh apni makhlooq ko ek hi muthi mein Jannat mein daakhil kar sakta hai." Nabi Kareem (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) ne farmaya: "Umar ne sach kaha."
وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ\قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وعَدَني أَن يدْخل الجنةَ من أُمتي أربعمائةِ أَلْفٍ بِلَا حِسَابٍ» . فَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ زِدْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ وَهَكَذَا فَحَثَا بِكَفَّيْهِ وَجَمَعَهُمَا فَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ: زِدْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ. قَالَ: وَهَكَذَا فَقَالَ عُمَرُ دَعْنَا يَا أبكر. فَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ: وَمَا عَلَيْكَ أَنْ يُدْخِلَنَا اللَّهُ كُلَّنَا الْجَنَّةَ؟ فَقَالَ عُمَرُ: إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِنْ شَاءَ أَنْ يُدْخِلَ خَلْقَهُ الْجَنَّةَ بِكَفٍّ وَاحِدٍ فَعَلَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «صَدَقَ عُمَرُ» رَوَاهُ فِي شرح السّنة\
