Salma bin Akwa narrated: We were with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) during the Battle of Hunayn. Some of the companions of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) turned back when (the disbelievers) attacked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). He dismounted from his mule and took a handful of dust from the ground. Then, throwing it towards their faces, he said: "May (their) faces be scorched." The eyes of all those people (disbelievers) were filled with dust and they ran away turning their backs. Allah defeated them and the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) distributed the spoils gained from them among the Muslims. - Sahih Muslim

سلمہ بن اکوع ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، ہم غزوۂ حنین میں رسول اللہ ﷺ کے ہمراہ تھے ، رسول اللہ ﷺ کے چند صحابہ ؓ پیٹھ پھیر گئے ، جب وہ (کافر) رسول اللہ ﷺ پر حملہ آور ہوئے تو آپ خچر سے نیچے اترے اور زمین سے مٹی کی مٹھی بھری ، پھر اسے ان کے چہروں کی طرف پھینکتے ہوئے فرمایا :’’ (ان کے) چہرے جھلس جائیں ۔‘‘ اس مٹھی سے ان تمام انسانوں (کافروں) کی آنکھیں مٹی سے بھر گئیں اور وہ پیٹھ پھیر کر بھاگ گئے ، اللہ نے انہیں شکست سے دوچار کر دیا اور رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ان سے حاصل ہونے والا مال غنیمت مسلمانوں میں تقسیم فرمایا ۔ رواہ مسلم ۔
Salma bin Akwa (RA) bayan karte hain, hum Ghazwa-e-Hunain mein Rasool Allah (SAW) ke hamrah thay, Rasool Allah (SAW) ke chand Sahaba (RA) peeth phair gaye, jab woh (kafir) Rasool Allah (SAW) par hamla awar huay tou aap khachar se neeche utray aur zameen se mitti ki muthi bhari, phir usay un ke chehron ki taraf phenkte huay farmaya: ''(In ke) chehre jhulas jayen.'' Iss muthi se un tamam insanon (kafiron) ki aankhen mitti se bhar gayin aur woh peeth phair kar bhaag gaye, Allah ne unhein shikast se dochar kar diya aur Rasool Allah (SAW) ne un se hasil honay wala maal ghanimat Musalmanon mein taqseem farmaya. Riwayat Muslim.
وَعَنْ\سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْأَكْوَعِ قَالَ غَزَوْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حُنَيْنًا فَوَلَّى صَحَابَةُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَلَمَّا غَشُوا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَزَلَ عَنِ الْبَغْلَةِ ثُمَّ قَبَضَ قَبْضَةً مِنْ تُرَابٍ مِنَ الْأَرْضِ ثُمَّ اسْتَقْبَلَ بِهِ وُجُوهَهُمْ فَقَالَ شَاهَتِ الْوُجُوهُ فَمَا خَلَقَ اللَّهُ مِنْهُمْ إِنْسَانًا إِلَّا مَلَأَ عَيْنَيْهِ تُرَابًا بِتِلْكَ الْقَبْضَةِ فَوَلَّوْا مُدْبِرِينَ فَهَزَمَهُمْ الله عز وَجل وَقَسْمِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ غنائمهم بَين الْمُسلمين رَوَاهُ مُسلم\
