Description of the virtues of Hazrat Uthman (RA)
بيان مناقب حضرة عثمان رضي الله عنه

`Abdul Rahman bin Khabbab (RA) narrated, "I went to the Prophet (ﷺ) while he was mobilizing the army for the battle of Tabuk. Uthman (RA) stood up and said, 'O Messenger of Allah! One hundred camels with their saddles and belongings are at Your disposal in the path of Allah.' Then, when the Prophet (ﷺ) mobilized the army again, Uthman (RA) stood up and said, 'Two hundred camels with their saddles and belongings are at Your disposal in the path of Allah.' Then, the Prophet (ﷺ) encouraged (the people for donations), so Uthman (RA) stood up and said, 'Three hundred camels (with their saddles and belongings) are at Your disposal in the path of Allah.' The narrator said, 'I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) descending from the pulpit, saying, 'There is no blame on Uthman (RA) for whatever he does after this. There is no blame on Uthman (RA) for whatever he does after this.'" (This is a weak hadith, narrated by Tirmidhi).

عبد الرحمن بن خباب ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، میں نبی ﷺ کی خدمت میں اس وقت حاضر ہوا جب آپ غزوۂ تبوک کے لیے آمادہ کر رہے تھے ، عثمان ؓ کھڑے ہوئے اور انہوں نے عرض کیا : اللہ کے رسول ! سو اونٹ مع سازو سامان اللہ کی راہ میں میرے ذمے ہیں ، پھر آپ نے لشکر کے لیے آمادہ کیا تو عثمان ؓ کھڑے ہوئے اور عرض کیا ، اللہ کی راہ میں دو سو اونٹ مع سازو سامان میرے ذمے ہیں ، پھر آپ نے ترغیب دلائی تو عثمان ؓ کھڑے ہوئے تو عرض کیا ، اللہ کی راہ میں تین سو اونٹ میرے ذمے ہیں ۔ راوی بیان کرتے ہیں ، میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کو دیکھا کہ آپ ﷺ منبر سے اترتے فرما رہے تھے :’’ عثمان ؓ نے اس کے بعد جو بھی عمل کیا اس پر کوئی مؤاخذہ نہیں ، عثمان ؓ اس کے بعد جو بھی عمل کرے اس پر کوئی مؤاخذہ نہیں ۔ سندہ ضعیف ، رواہ الترمذی ۔
Abdul Rahman bin Khabbab bayan karte hain, main Nabi SAW ki khidmat mein us waqt hazir hua jab aap Ghazwah Tabuk ke liye aamada kar rahe the, Usman khade huye aur unhon ne arz kiya: Allah ke Rasool! Sau unt ma sazo saman Allah ki raah mein mere zimme hain, phir aap ne lashkar ke liye aamada kiya to Usman khade huye aur arz kiya, Allah ki raah mein do sau unt ma sazo saman mere zimme hain, phir aap ne targhib dilai to Usman khade huye to arz kiya, Allah ki raah mein teen sau unt mere zimme hain. Rawi bayan karte hain, maine Rasulullah SAW ko dekha ki aap SAW mimbar se utarte farma rahe the: ''Usman ne iske baad jo bhi amal kiya us par koi moakhaza nahin, Usman iske baad jo bhi amal kare us par koi moakhaza nahin. Sanda zaeef, riwayat Tirmizi.
وَعَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ خَبَّابٍ قَالَ: شَهِدْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يَحُثُّ عَلَى جَيْشِ الْعُسْرَةِ فَقَامَ عُثْمَانُ فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُول الله عَلَيَّ مِائَتَا بَعِيرٍ بِأَحْلَاسِهَا وَأَقْتَابِهَا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ثُمَّ حَضَّ عَلَى الْجَيْشِ فَقَامَ عُثْمَانُ فَقَالَ: عَلَيَّ مِائَتَا بَعِيرٍ بِأَحْلَاسِهَا وَأَقْتَابِهَا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ثُمَّ حَضَّ فَقَامَ عُثْمَانُ فَقَالَ: عَلَيَّ ثَلَاثُمِائَةِ بَعِيرٍ بِأَحْلَاسِهَا وَأَقْتَابِهَا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَأَنَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَنْزِلُ عَنِ الْمِنْبَرِ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ: «مَا عَلَى عُثْمَانَ مَا عَمِلَ بَعْدَ هَذِهِ مَا عَلَى عُثْمَانَ مَا عَمِلَ بَعْدَ هَذِهِ» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ
