Description of the virtues of Hazrat Uthman (RA)
بيان مناقب حضرة عثمان رضي الله عنه

It is narrated on the authority of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “O Uthman! I hope that Allah will clothe you with a shirt, and if they (the hypocrites) want you to take it off, then do not take it off for their sake.” Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah. And Imam Tirmidhi said: This Hadith has a long story. Sahih, narrated by Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah.

عائشہ ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ عثمان ! امید ہے کہ اللہ تمہیں قمیص پہنائے گا ، اگر وہ تم سے اسے اتروانا چاہیں تو تم ان کی خاطر اسے نہ اتارنا ۔‘‘ ترمذی ، ابن ماجہ ، اور امام ترمذی نے فرمایا : حدیث میں طویل قصہ ہے ۔ صحیح ، رواہ الترمذی و ابن ماجہ ۔
Ayesha se riwayat hai ke Nabi ne farmaya: Usman! Umeed hai ke Allah tumhen qamees pehnayega, agar wo tumse use utarwana chahen to tum un ki khatir use na utarna. Tirmizi, Ibn Majah, aur Imam Tirmizi ne farmaya: Hadees mein tawil qissa hai. Sahih, Rawah al-Tirmidhi wa Ibn Majah.
وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «يَا عُثْمَانُ إِنَّهُ لَعَلَّ اللَّهَ يُقَمِّصُكَ قَمِيصًا فَإِنْ أَرَادُوكَ عَلَى خَلْعِهِ فَلَا تَخْلَعْهُ لَهُمْ» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَابْنُ مَاجَهْ وَقَالَ التِّرْمِذِيُّ فِي الحَدِيث قصَّة طَوِيلَة
